Corpus Christi College, situated in the heart of the city, combines ancient buildings with modern facilities, making Corpus Christi the ideal alternative to a hotel or bed and breakfast.

The accommodation available is used by students during term time and is pleasant, simple and clean single standard bedrooms or basic ensuite bedrooms. The College does not operate in the same way as a hotel, but promise to provide you with stunning architecture steeped in history, atmosphere and a very friendly service.

Each bedroom has a wash hand basin and you will be provided with a towel and soap. Bathrooms are shared unless you are in ensuite rooms. Your bedroom will be routinely cleaned by the Housekeeping staff, beds are not cleaned at weekends. Tea & coffee making facilities are offered in the kitchens, which are located close to each bedroom.

Bedrooms can be chosen within the grounds of the College, you must select New Court and Taylor Court; we also have bedrooms situated just out of the main gate which is Botolph Court and Benet Street. Ensuite accommodation is a 1 minute walk from the main gate and there is also enclosed court accommodation a 2 minute walk away in the Beldam Building. Accommodation outside the College is cheaper in price due to its location and the fact that it is noisier. The college has tried to offer as much information to you regarding the standard of accommodation and facilities they offer, if you have any questions please contact conferences@corpus.cam.ac.uk

Corpus Christi very much look forward to welcoming you!

History to the present day

Old Court, a rare medieval architectural gem and the oldest surviving enclosed court in Cambridge, dates from the foundation of the College in 1352.  The 19th century Neo-Gothic New Court provides the four traditional essentials of a college - a Chapel, a Library, a Hall and a Lodge for the Master.  Famous Students who have attended Corpus Christi include the playwrights Christopher Marlowe and John Fletcher.

Fascinating fact: Long-nosed inquisitive Corpus Master Matthew Parker of 1544 was the original "Nosey Parker!!"

Food and Drinks

Breakfast is included in the price and you will dine in the Hall each morning. Breakfast is served Monday to Sunday from 08.30am to 09.15am.

Tea & Coffee-making facilities are located in the kitchens located close to each bedroom. Please make yourself familiar with their location & the bathrooms on arrival.

Other facilities

Internet: each bedroom in College has an internet point. Payment for usage is taken online. Ethernet cables can be bought from the Porter's Lodge for £5 if you do not have your own.

If I ever return to Cambridge I will sure use your site to book my lodgings. Everything functioned just fine and I had a very nice experience.
Ms Magdalena M

Unexpectedly cheerful welcome from Corpus Christi porters; wonderful central location; they advised very helpfully on car parking; room very clean, suitably eccentric, in very good order though shower was a bit tired. Excellent cooked breakfast with really decent coffee - what more could you want! Thank you.
Mr Chris H

I have enjoyed this great location, so close to the conference venue.
Mrs Cornelia Z

accommodation v convenient for college. free parking very helpful too. Although the food was quite cheap the quality was 'canteeny' and not always hot we had breakfast out in town after the first day. The biscuits were lovely tho'
Dr Paddy M

Excellent- welcomed by staff and enjoyed over looking the quad. Comfortable bed and plenty of room
Mrs Jane M

We were in one of the upstairs suites (with a private bathroom) near the Benet gate. The rooms and the location were great and made our stay very comfortable. The rooms were very clean, the bathroom-shower nicely efficient. Everything worked smoothly.
Prof Max C

the porter who was on duty when we arrived was very helpful and also gave us an insight into the history of corpus christi cant praise him enough
Mr stuart O

Our rooms (there were two bedrooms) were very pleasant. Slightly dated but spacious, clean and with good quality furnishings. The location, though, is the reason I would give the whole experience an 'excellent' rating. Slap bang in the middle of Cambridge but not too busy, in one of the loveliest streets, right next to the amazing Corpus clock, and with the calmess of the pretty college courts to walk through on the way out each morning. We enjoyed having stately breakfasts in the dining rooms!
Ms Frances T

I'd like to stress out the kind and helpful treatment that i received from the night porter that assisted me when i got to the college on tuesday night.
