Customer feedback

We guarantee that all our feedback is genuine and can only be submitted by people who have booked through our websites.

Mr Peter H (Westminster College, Cambridge, February 2016): I was very impressed with the welcome and the room. The breakfast was excellent and the kitchen manager/chef was particularly attentive in a very natural and caring way and she merits 5 stars plus for customer care. Thank you.

Mr Michael E (Westminster College, Cambridge, February 2016): Excellent location, room and service. Real coffee and cafetiere was a real surprise. Wonderful to have this available in term time.

Ms Clare C (Westminster College, Cambridge, February 2016): Another very enjoyable overnight stay at westminster college

Dr Peter L (Westminster College, Cambridge, January 2016): Easy car parking, pleasant staff, terrific breakfast

Mr Ben C (Westminster College, Cambridge, January 2016): I had a great time staying at Westminster College. I spoke with many of the staff, who were friendly and helpful. I would like to send a special thanks to Ricky, the night security, who was always really kind. The breakfast and cleaning staff were also really helpful and understanding with my time arrangements. The other guests and students were also friendly. I don't know how you did it but you have created a wonderful atmosphere for those staying at Westminster College, and I would love to stay here if I have reason to visit Cambridge University again. I tried to use the gym facilities at nearby colleges but was unable to because I am not a student of their college. Westminster College does not have gym facilities which is understandable. I instead used the Parkside gym and pool, which unfortunately didn't offer any student discount and was therefore expensive. My room was warm, but the bathroom was so cold that I didn't want to use it much. I think the radiator does not work or the ventilation may be open too wide. Ultimately, I really enjoyed my stay at Westminster College. Thank you.

Mrs Kirsten P (Westminster College, Cambridge, January 2016): A beautiful place to stay in a central location. The room was comfortable and I particularly liked the provision of cafetière coffee. Eating a cooked breakfast in the Hall was a pleasure, although the coffee from the machine was not very jive and disappointing after the lovely coffee provided in the rooms.

Prof James B (Westminster College, Cambridge, January 2016): Very convenient for CUL and an easy walk into the town as well, so good location (for me at least!)

Mr Gordon C (Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, January 2016): We received a friendly welcome from all the staff. We particularly enjoyed being able to walk in the garden. A conveniently central location.

Dr Rie G (Westminster College, Cambridge, January 2016): My guests were happy to stay in Westminster College. They enjoyed facility of common room and small kitchen. Catering offered them to leave boxes of breakfast leaving in the fridge as their departure was 5am. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

Mrs Andrea M (Westminster College, Cambridge, January 2016): The process of booking was easy, the reality matched the description (in fact, the place was even prettier than the description) and every aspect of my stay at Westminster College was to my complete satisfaction. My only regret was that I only stayed one night.

Mr Steve T (Westminster College, Cambridge, January 2016): favourite place to stay in Cambridge

Mrs Lisa C (Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, January 2016): My room in Garden Court was very hot - I turned the radiator off but there is a pipe system through the wall. But the service, the breakfast etc was fantastic. Great value for money and a fantastic place to stay.

Dr Vikram D (Jesus College, Cambridge, January 2016): Seamless. Lovely experience. No issues. Amazing value for money. V

Mr Kevin S (Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge, December 2015): Very good. Excellent welcome - mulled wine and chocolate biscuits.

Ms Ke Z (Jesus College, Cambridge, December 2015): good service and quality

Mr Vivian G (Churchill College, Cambridge, December 2015): Churchill college was a good place to stay. It is very convenient for the city centre. Although a modern building, it is set in a very quiet landscaped area. The room was basic but adequate for our needs. The breakfast was self-service and very well prepared. All staff were very helpful and friendly, especioally the porters. There was plenty of on site parking. Wifi reception was excellent.

Mrs Sheila M (Downing College, Cambridge, December 2015): The employees were all extremely helpful.

Mr Tony B (Christ's College, Cambridge, December 2015): Very pleasant overnight stay.

Ms Rowena L (Christ's College, Cambridge, December 2015): Friendly staff made me feel so welcomed.

Mr Görkem K (Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, December 2015): The place where i stayed in Sidney Sussex College is perfect place to stay. I recommend everybody to stay in Sidney Sussex College.

Prof David H (Westminster College, Cambridge, December 2015): I was very happy with all aspects of my visit -- I'll be back!

Ms Sarah W (Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge (Harvey Court), December 2015): Warm, clean and welcoming. No TV or radio or coffee or tea making facilities would be my only criticism.

Mr Mihai Horatiu B (Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, December 2015): Traditional setting, very clean, cosy and comfortable, kind personnel, nice window view and inner courtyards, secure access, very close to other colleges, shops and eating facilities. Thank you, hope to be visiting again soon.

Mr Stephen P (Jesus College, Cambridge, December 2015): Christmas Dinner was a special experience. Thank you.

Mrs Penelope F (Churchill College, Cambridge, December 2015): A lovely location which was great . Really helpful porter Thank you

Mrs Hilary M (Downing College, Cambridge, December 2015): Excellent room and facilities. Good breakfast. Looking forward to a repeat visit.

Mr Michael B (Trinity Hall, Cambridge, December 2015): From arrival at the Porter's lodge to leaving I couldn't have wished for a more helpful welcome.

Mrs Jacqueline S (Downing College, Cambridge, December 2015): Porters were excellent. Parking fantastic as it was so convenient for the town centre.

Mrs Alison V (Jesus College, Cambridge, December 2015): Excellent accommodation and first rate breakfast for a very reasonable price. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in all respects: the room was immaculate and on another level compared to the rooms I had as a student in the early 1970s (not at Jesus obviously!). The breakfast was first rate and the staff were courteous and helpful and I will definitely return at some point for another trip down memory lane!

Mr GRAHAM S (The Stephen Hawking Building, (Gonville & Caius College), Cambridge, December 2015): Very well presented room in a modern setting and a hearty breakfast in the historic dining hall at the college a ten minute walk away. Porters and staff were friendly and helpful. We were shown some of the fascinating windows and exhibits after our meal. Don't expect a parking space, though. They are in short supply.

Dr Meiaad K (Jesus College, Cambridge, December 2015): Everything was excellent and better than I have expected. I highly recommend this place. I stayed in a single room and it was spacious and clean with many shelves and drawers to store and organize whatever your stuff is. There was a large board on the room's wall that I was able to hang my A0 poster and practice my presentation. Coffee, tea, and biscuits are provided in the room. I wished if there is hot chocolate as well since I dont drink coffee or tea. Room service comes everyday to add more biscuites and to clean the room and bathroom. The bathroom is supplied with clean towels, soap, shampoo, shower gel, shower cap, and lotion. It is just like a 5 stars hotel.

Mr John W (Christ's College, Cambridge, December 2015): Great location Friendly porters Nice room So good experience all round - we'll probably be back!

Mrs Sarah S (Christ's College, Cambridge, December 2015): Very straightforward booking and a pleasant stay.

Prof Mari L (Clare College, Cambridge, December 2015): Charming service

Miss Hyun Kyung L (Jesus College, Cambridge, December 2015): I would like to use the Jesus College accommodation if I had an opportunity to come back to Cambridge! Everything was so wonderful!

Miss caroline H (Churchill College, Cambridge, December 2015): Fab!

Ms Patricia N (Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, December 2015): It was a clean and comfortable room and I would definitely book with University Rooms again.

Ms Claire L (The Stephen Hawking Building, (Gonville & Caius College), Cambridge, December 2015): Very nice stay central location rooms & breakfast were good

Miss Kathryn L (The Stephen Hawking Building, (Gonville & Caius College), Cambridge, December 2015): Fantastic Porters - very helpful. Room and building modern and clean. Slight issue with this particular rooms door lock and key. Didn't cause too much problem once the Porters advised the knack. Would recommend to anyone needing a central Cambridge location off The Backs.

Prof Stephen G (Jesus College, Cambridge, December 2015): At £65 a night, including full cooked breakfast in Hall, this is exceptional value. The rooms are student accommodation, very clean and comfortable, with modern ensuite shower room. A good range of toiletries provided. Free wifi. All staff encountered were professional and helpful. Thank you.
