Dr Janne Kurtakko (Christ's College, Cambridge, December 2014): For a person interested in academic research and the settings for it, every visit to an old Cambridge or Oxford college is a relief - such places do still exist. Christ's college has architectural layers from many centuries, which is one thing that makes it interesting. The personnel - especially Porter - left little to be desired. And that silence! Had a very pleasant stay. Many thanks.

Mrs Jane Hart (The Stephen Hawking Building, (Gonville & Caius College), Cambridge, December 2014): Good service by porters, room immaculate. Friendly housekeeper who helped us work out how to put the heater on. This was our second stay and we will definitely be back.

Mr Martin Spence (Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, December 2014): The room was spacious, clean, and well-heated. Unfortunately, there were no towels or soap provided, but the porter was able to provide us with towlels when we asked him. The breakfast was outstanding -- the "full English" itself, as well as the warm welcome and the splending dining hall.

Mrs Emma Guard (Christ's College, Cambridge, December 2014): Porters so welcoming. Wonderful environment for me and husband and our friends enjoyed their rooms/stay too . We all stayed at Christ's college a central spot with a fab atmosphere. We had a great time shopping/ eating and staying, thank you.

Dr CELIA BIELAWSKI (Homerton College, Cambridge, December 2014): bright clean room

Mr John Davies (Christ's College, Cambridge, December 2014): Really enjoyed staying in such lovely surroundings Great location

Mrs Denise Rodriguez Santana (Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, December 2014): Large gate leading into road was difficult to open. (but I think it was broke??) But that's just one of those things! Would use and recommend this accommodation again.

Mr Daniel Simpson (Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, December 2014): Excellent service, room, facilities and provision (nice towels, soaps, etc.). I've stayed twice at clare before (my own college) but must concede that Sidney Sussex offers a better service.

Mrs Mary Janet Ward (Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, December 2014): This arrangement of three single (en-suite) rooms for our three generations, with the youngest attending her all important interview the following morning, was ideal.

Mrs Amanda Buck (Christ's College, Cambridge, December 2014): Great room and friendly service, beautiful college to stay at with ideal location.

Ms Suzette Hill (Christ's College, Cambridge, December 2014): Quiet and civilized. My reception at the porter's lodge was cheerful and helpful. Other staff that I encountered were most courteous and pleasant. The bedroom was well equipped, and although not having time for breakfast I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would certainly book again.

Mr Geoff Hetherington (Westminster College, Cambridge, December 2014): Lovely room, clean & comfortable. Great breakfast too. Very convenient for the city centre. No hesitation in recommending and we'll certainly stay there again next time we go to Cambridge.

Ms Michael Kinney (Homerton College, Cambridge, December 2014): Porter staff could not be thanked enough! They were very helpful to me! Many thanks! They are a credit to the place! There is too much pure orange being drunk in Cambridge!

Mrs Elizabeth Clark (Selwyn College, Cambridge, December 2014): Selwyn Porters give a really warm welcome! All staff were very helpful. Breakfast was really fresh and plentiful, wonderful to have breakfast in the Hall.

Mr PATRICK PHILLIPS (Selwyn College, Cambridge, December 2014): Excellent room and stay. Eating in the Great Hall with College community was a privalidge was far better than any hotel. I would recommend the experience to anyone

Ms Sue French (Westminster College, Cambridge, December 2014): Helpful and very friendly staff.

Mr Stuart Hood (Selwyn College, Cambridge, December 2014): Very convenient for the city centre and other colleges. Service was excellent and the Porters could not have been more helpful.

Dr Anne Maw (Selwyn College, Cambridge, December 2014): Spacious clean room. Excellent shower .

Mrs Elizabeth Simkin (Selwyn College, Cambridge, December 2014): Comfortable bed. Great shower. Very plush for a student room! Lucky old Cambridge Students!

Mrs Jade Kuo (Westminster College, Cambridge, December 2014): The College staff were friendly and extremely helpful. I will definitely book again when I next visit Cambridge.

Mr Alan Peter Drury (Westminster College, Cambridge, December 2014): I appreciated the wi-fi and that it worked so well. All the staff we met, including the 'Master' (I forget his title), were exceptionally friendly. The lady who provided breakfast was as lovely as her breakfast, and we enjoyed the conversation we had with two other ladies rearranging the dining room tables. The college's situation was great for us as we were attending a lecture in Clare College, where I studied. My only minor quibbles were the bedside table was a bit small, the shower was small and water pressure a bit weak, the bathroom door came out of its groove, we ran out of milk and the chap on reception at night didn't know how to provide any more, and I thought charging 50p for a cup of tea in the lounge is a bit mean. But these points are offered only as honest feedback, not as criticism and the stay was excellent.

Sig. Cesare Ghisalberti (Westminster College, Cambridge, December 2014): excellent experience. beautiful place and location. really peaceful. looking foward to go back.

Dr S Ramanan (Westminster College, Cambridge, December 2014): Excellent accommodation in a college environment, friendly staff and hassle-free booking & check-out. Did not realise till the last day that there was a common TV room :-)

Dr Charmalie Nahallage (Westminster College, Cambridge, December 2014): Overall a very good experience, the staff were very kind and helpful.

Mrs Jennifer Hussey (Westminster College, Cambridge, December 2014): Lovely room, spotlessly clean. A bugbear of mine is often poor, ill sited lighting but in this case the lights were thoughtfully sited and bright enough to read by. Very quiet, warm and peaceful. Will definitely use again and recommend to friends.

Mr Ellick Taylor (Westminster College, Cambridge, November 2014): The rooms were plain but decorated to a high standard with good facilities. The atmosphere of the college was warm, friendly calm and quiet. I will definitely book again.

M. Pierre BEAL (Westminster College, Cambridge, November 2014): Great ... my future destination when i will be back in Cambridge

Mrs Rita Gray (Westminster College, Cambridge, November 2014): Very good value for money. Great location. Will be recommending to friends and family.

Mr Benedikt Niewidok (Westminster College, Cambridge, November 2014): Beautiful building, friendly staff and good breakfast. Most important fantastic room.

Mrs Anne Major (Westminster College, Cambridge, November 2014): This accommodation is excellent. Lovely building and good room. We loved our stay and would certainly return. It was also very convenient for the city centre with good parking. We would recommend this accommodation.

Mrs Samantha Osborne (Westminster College, Cambridge, November 2014): We were impressed with the décor and high standards of this college. Please ask them to bring back the milk sticks in the rooms which they had previously as the new ones taste awful. Apart from this small thing, we had an excellent stay.

Ms Claudia Wittig (Westminster College, Cambridge, November 2014): Rooms are very basic but clean and sufficient. There is coffe and tea in each room and free wifi. Breakfast rather poor, especially coffe. Staff is very friendly and the building most beautifull. Close to St. John's and city centre.

Mr Taffere Tesfachew (Westminster College, Cambridge, November 2014): Efficient and quick booking process. The room/ensuite was even better than I had expected - bright, clean, fluffy towels, wifi, parking....better than offered by many hotels! Unfortunately, I didn't take breakfast as I had a breakfast meeting elsewhere (hence the rating of good though that probably too was excellent). University stays are relatively new to us but you can be sure we are going to use them again and again and again. Wonderful service and great value for money. Thanks!

Mrs Liesl Popplewell (Westminster College, Cambridge, November 2014): Lovely view from the room

Mrs Liesl Popplewell (Westminster College, Cambridge, November 2014): Very friendly staff, room and college perfect for a stay in Cambridge. Lots of character and great location for walking along the Backs and the town centre

Mr Stewart Baily (Westminster College, Cambridge, November 2014): The location is super, we did not need to use our car at all to see Cambridge. The staff met all of our requests(non alergetic pillows, quiet room). The bed was a bit hard, but we know some folks like it that way. We would do it again.

Dr Geoff Archer (Westminster College, Cambridge, November 2014): Very peaceful and convenient.

Ms Jackie Wilson (Westminster College, Cambridge, November 2014): Nice room - bit of road noise and bed a bit firm but otherwise comfy
