Mrs Elizabeth Warman (Westminster College, Cambridge, March 2015): I had a lovely stay at Westminster, thank you. Had to search for the bathroom light switch and towel rail switch and would have liked an oat-based breakfast, but these are minor, very minor things!

Mr Anthony May (Christ's College, Cambridge, March 2015): Having been disappointed not to stay at my old college (St John's) we were pleasantly surprised by Christ's. Porters were very friendly and helpful, room was large and clean and breakfast was a little slice of university life. Would have liked a bath but bot much else to improve. Thanks Anthony

Dr Elisabeth Bowman (Clare College, Cambridge, March 2015): My room had reasonable facilities but was a bit tatty (but then it's a student room). I thought the Porters Lodge help was excellent and possibility of getting extra tea and milk even late in the evening was great.

Mr Miles Williamson-Noble (Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, March 2015): The whole experience was excellent except for the complete lack of hot water in the shower or basin on the Sunday morning despite leaving it running for a considerable time

Mrs Willemijn Waal (Christ's College, Cambridge, March 2015): A very pleasant stay, the only downside was that the breakfast is not served before 8.30 am on Sundays

Mr James Alsop (Trinity Hall, Cambridge, March 2015): much enjoyed my stay, and the overall friendliness and helpfulness were refreshing

Mr Will Finch (Trinity Hall, Cambridge, March 2015): A real treat to stay here. I had one of the older very basic rooms, but others had very comfortable smart rooms. A hidden gem this!

Ms Sabine Roemer (Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, March 2015): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sidney Sussex College! Due to a conference there were no rooms available in the oldest part of the college, but my room at Garden Court had a great view over the college buildings and Cambridge. Service was extremely helpful. Although the website states that there is no extra room for your luggage we could leave our bags at the entrance building when we arrived (we were a bit early for check-in). Rooms and facilities were clean. We had fairly cheap rooms without ensuite bathrooms, but toilets and showers were shared between four to five rooms, so this was no problem at all. The bed was a bit soft for my liking, but that's just my personal opinion. Towels were provided and even a lovely set of toiletries that wouldn't have been out of place even in a luxury hotel. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. But the best feature was breakfast in the wonderful dining hall! The full english breakfast was great, and there was a lot of variety for cereal and lots of fresh fruit. I'd highly recommend staying at Sidney Sussex College. You won't regret it! :-)

Mr David Cane (Westminster College, Cambridge, March 2015): What a lovely stay! Thank you very much!

Miss Nicola Ashworth (The Stephen Hawking Building, (Gonville & Caius College), Cambridge, March 2015): Great location. Clean room but did smell like a student room recently inhabited by a young man. Might be worth making sure the room is fully aired. The porters were very helpful.

Mr Pierre Chicoine (Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, March 2015): Very nice environnement and à porter team very careful.

Prof Ken Starkey (Jesus College, Cambridge, March 2015): I would highly recommend

Ms Emily Dott (Clare College, Cambridge, March 2015): My experience at Clare college was excellent. Greeting from porter was friendly, welcoming and hassle free. I would recommend staying in a college through this system to colleagues.

Mrs Debra Toms (Westminster College, Cambridge, March 2015): Overall - excellent. Room 114 also had a kitchen. Everything clean, comfortable, warm and lovely, excepting, unfortunately, rather lumpy mattresses. The older backs in our group were rather aching and creaky the following morning! Service excellent, parking on-site. A lovely stay.

Mr Nils Matzner (Westminster College, Cambridge, March 2015): Wonderful experience

Mrs Veronica O'Sullivan (Westminster College, Cambridge, March 2015): Room and facilities were good but double bed was rather on the small size. Breakfast was good with variety but cooked food was more warm than hot. The location was ideal for my purposes. Overall experience was very good and I would certainly stay here again and recommend it friends.

Ms Linda Major (Westminster College, Cambridge, March 2015): Westminster College was lovely - very clean and modernly equipped room - bigger than the average hotel room. Beautiful building and only a 10 minute walk from the centre. Extremely helpful staff, would definitely stay there again. Great value.
