William Goodenough House, Bloomsbury, London

My wife and I had a one-bedroom flat in Goodenough House. Really enjoyed staying in it for three days and four nights. The kitchen lacked a toaster and a frying skillet, so that limited our cooking, which is what we like to do in self-catering lodgings. Also, the exact location of Goodenough House is not clearly given in the website or website map. We had to walk and inquire way beyond what was necessary when we first arrived in order to find the correct building and entrance. We were on foot with luggage and came via the Russell Square Tube Station. We later learned it's a mere ten-minute walk to the Tube station. Wish we had known the way before arriving. It took us a good (and sweaty!) half hour to find Goodenough House when we first arrived. We didn't have breakfast in the Great Hall, so I can't judge that.

Amazing level of service, so grateful for the help I received. I booked the wrong amount of nights and not only was I found another room but my suitcase was packed for me so I didn't have to miss any classes.

I have tried a few University Rooms and Goodenough House is up there with the best. I didn't have breakfast.
