We guarantee that all our feedback is genuine and can only be submitted by people who have booked through our websites.
Ms KAHEE OH, September 2014: I'll come here again.
Mr John Tyrrell, August 2014: The room is in Chelsea close to shops, cinema, buses. South Ken is walk away. Well managed tidy, shared amenities in student Halls.
Miss Jennifer Kendrick, August 2014: Great location. Helpful staff. Good facilities. Complimentary tea and coffee etc. very welcome.
Would definitely go back.
Dr Rebecca Wong, August 2014: Although the room was very hot we managed to get a fan. Very clean and good value.
Mrs kristin verschueren, July 2014: top experience for money spent, good beds, everything needed available, top location!!!
Mr Alessandro Marcon, July 2014: Overall good experience, would highly recommend. But, for relatively long stays (mor than 15 days), some shared cutlery and crockery would have been very helpful.
Mr John Coyne, July 2014: I enjoyed my stay at Evelyn Gardens. I booked a single room, It is in a fantastic location, within walking distance to chelsea embankment, battersea bridge, kings road and fulham road, plenty of bars, pubs, shops nearby. Quiet area, sainsburys and m&s on the fulham road within 5 minutes walk to buy your milk, coffee etc, Towels supplied, shared toilet and shower facilities, shared kitchen, staff were great, excellent value for money for a single room in this location. I would recommend Evelyn Gardens and I will go back.
Dr JU ZHU, July 2014: It is a good value of money, particularly in London such a expensive place.
Large and spacial kitchen. Instant coffee/tea bags are provided and replaced in time.
No wifi in the rooms.
The only shortcoming maybe the shower facility... the shower head can hardly adjust the direction in that tiny space. Water hits the wall instead of on your body...
The staffs during the summer period, I think are student, they are all really nice and friendly.
Miss Stephanie Brown, July 2014: As it is shared bathroom facility I would have likes to pay less. But excellent service was given by staff members, particularly the cleaning lady who had a very pleasant attitude
Mr Klaus Rieder, July 2014: Great neighbourhood, friendliness and tidyness. Coffe, tea and milk provided in communal kitchen for free, cleaning cloth, dishwasher (detergent) and more kitchen utensils would be appreciated;)
Mr Donal Murray, September 2013: I really enjoyed my stay at Evelyn Gardens; the staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming. What a fantastic location too, the whole of Central London easily accessible via Gloucester Road or South Kensington tube stations. I found a great little cafe nearby for coffee and criossants in the morning; there are many to choose from! Although it is some years since my student days I will definitely be back to stay and enjoy the 'student ambience' of Evelyn Gardens...
Dr Torsten Frosch, September 2013: thank you for the nice place to stay in convenient environment
Mr Warwick Henshall, September 2013: Quiet location in excellent neighbourhood. Shared facilities were never all in use. Close to several bus routes; under 10 minute walk to nearest tube station (Gloucester Rd). Great value for money.
Ms Lesley Dearn, September 2013: Great location, very good room, basic but clean, spacious and airy. Very close to local supermarkets so easy to prepare a decent inexpensive meal but remember, there is no equipment so bring a plate and pan and what ever else you need if you plan to self cater.
Miss Desiree Schultz, August 2013: It's in a great location walking distance to lots. The price was so reasonable I would recommend this to anyone.
Mrs Bonni Southey, August 2013: Very impressed with this service....makes complete sense that the space is used well, and yes, it was a 'hark back to student days' with it's frugality and simplicity of accomodation, but for the times when I come to London for things other than the accomodation, it is perfect. It makes a spontaneous little London stay very accessible over the summer.
Miss Silvia Viñallonga, August 2013: Very good place to stay in London. The location is good and the rooms are excelent. The kitchen is a very positive point and the showers/bathrooms are very clean. I would definetly recomend it
Dr Juanjuan Hu, August 2013: It's been a very pleasant stay in Evelyn gardens. The ambiance is nice and quiet, and the location is great and very convenient to reach any place.
Mr Tam Meechan, August 2013: An excellent basic value for money spacious room right in the heart of Kensington. It is a no brainer, I will be back.
Ms Dorothea Bouck-Standen, August 2013: The reception staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very nice, comfortable and quiet. I used to stay in Uni halls myself when I was a student so knew what to expect in terms of facilities and I was very happy with the cleanliness and overall appearance. I would be very happy to stay here again if required.
Mr Aditya Dasgupta, August 2013: Very much enjoyed the stay. In a great location, though slightly quiet and residential, which may be a plus for many.
Ms Barbara Merle Stacey, October 2012: Helpful and pleasant front desk staff. Good locality. Fairly basic student digs. Shower room very small, no pegs for clothing etc. However, value for cost all together very good.
Mrs HILARY BARBER, October 2012: great cheap accommodation in excellent part of London with good transport links. Superb value for money, no frills, clean & spacious.
Mr nicholas humby, October 2012: A good room which was warm, comfortable and quiet in an excellent location.
Ms Barbara Scotto, October 2012: Great location! Excellent accommodations!
Ms Mary Steinke, August 2012: Everything was perfect.
Mr Matteo Vezzaro, August 2012: Big Room, clean, big windows with view on a beautiful garden. 10 minute to the underground. Bathroom small but still acceptable. Nice price, Excellent sistemation.
Mr JOHN HEATON, August 2012: public areas too hot-would h b unbearable in really hot weather.
Otherwisw very satisfactory stay-good value , clean , very good location for transport , shops and pub/cafes / restaurants
will definitely stay again
Mrs Julie Whalley, August 2012: Excellent location, very clean and comfrtable bed and always plenty of hot water in showers. I will recommned and hopefully use again.
Mr Leo Yannick Wild, August 2012: Friendly and helpful staff, well located appr. a 15 min. walk from Battery Park and 20 min. walk from Hyde Park, 10 min. to Gloucester Road tube (with 3 lines running there). Room not much equipped but clean and within a 4 nights stay even fresh bed and towels. Two hire bike stations right around the corner. Floors dark (but lights switch on when there is movement) and VERY hot (no air conditioner), stairs are narrow so take care when being impaired that no more than ground or first floor.
Shared toilets and showers clean and discrete enough. Kitchens with TV and very (!) cold fridge so better cool your stuff in water or under your bed. Beds small but very well sleeping in there. Overall pretty good experience.
Mr Sai Thaticherla, August 2012: Overall I am very satisfied with the facility and location.
Miss Nicoletta Casonato, July 2012: To much children going around during the first days. They were really annoying and impolite. As for the rest of my staying I found the room nice and clean. Bathroom quite clean. I suggest to divide areas for adults and areas for kids.
Ms Hannah Hartman-Frost, July 2012: The staff was extremely helpful. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable.
Mrs Edyta Lam, July 2012: This is cheap and of good quality accomodation you can find in central London with only 5 minutes walk to the nearest tube station and short walk to all London's attractions. The standard is good, rooms are simple but clean and with price comparable to hostel you get the privacy of your own room. This is bargain and highly recommend it.
