Christ Church is centrally located, in the beautiful City of Oxford, close to all amenities as well as to excellent transport links.
Guests are accommodated in Christ Church’s comfortably modernized bedrooms. These are located in buildings of architectural and or historical interest either beside lawned quadrangles, overlooking gardens or the Meadow. The buildings reflect the differing centuries since the college’s foundation in 1546.
Rooms, for single or twin occupancy are located on ground, first, second and third floors. Many rooms have their own private shower and toilet; all have tea and coffee making facilities, telephone, free ethernet internet connection and a refrigerator. The college’s accommodation also includes standard single study bedrooms and our popular twin ‘sets’. Standard Rooms have shared bathroom and toilet facilities between approximately four rooms. Please note that not all facilities may be available on the same floor as your room. You may have to go up- or downstairs to find the nearest facilities.
Please note Single Standard Rooms are mainly up several flights of stairs and there are no lifts in any accommodation buildings. If you have mobility difficulties and require a low floor room, please make a note of this in the 'Additional Notes' section when making your booking. There are no lifts to the accommodation. So, please let us know if there are any accessibility needs when you make your booking and we will endeavour to accommodate your requirements. There is, however, a lift to the Great Hall where breakfast is served. We will do our best to support other special access needs, bearing in mind the constraints of historic buildings.
History to the present day
Christ Church, is one of the largest and grandest of Oxford’s colleges. It was founded by Henry VIII in 1546. The most ambitious plans, which led to the grandest buildings, were those of Henry’s Lord Chancellor, Cardinal Thomas Wolsey. He laid out the Great Quadrangle, the kitchen and the Great Hall, which were completed by 1529 and have not been substantially altered since. Significant additions to the college’s architectural heritage have occurred over the centuries.
Of the various buildings which compose Christ Church, the oldest is the 12th century collegiate Cathedral, originally the conventual church of St Frideswide’s priory. Almost as ancient as the Cathedral, and on its southern side is the Chapter House, part Norman but mainly 13th century. The cloister was rebuilt in about 1499 and the former monastic refectory, which forms the southern boundary of the cloister, housed the college library from 1561. After the New Library was opened in the 18th century the refectory building was converted into residential rooms. This nucleus of ancient priory buildings, much restored and altered, is all that escaped demolition when in 1525 Cardinal Wolsey set about his ambitious scheme for Cardinal College which was later refounded by Henry VIII as Aedes Christi, that is: Christ Church.
Christ Church boasts many famous alumni including thirteen former British Prime Ministers. Charles Dodgson, whose pen name was Lewis Carroll, the author of 'Alice in Wonderland' and 'Alice through the Looking Glass' was also a member of Christ Church. There are many Alice-related things to see at Christ Church and, of course, the first Harry Porter film was staged, in part, in the Great Hall and Hall staircase.
Food and Drinks
A Full English Breakfast is provided each morning between 0800-0900hrs. Breakfast is served in the unique setting of the Great Hall with its stunning hammer beam roof and wonderful oil paintings.
There is a delightful college bar called the Buttery where drinks may be purchased in the early evening.
There are lots of restaurants, bars and cafés nearby or it may be possible to book lunch and/or dinner in the Great Hall subject to availability.
Grounds and gardens
Christ Church is unique amongst the Oxford Colleges for its wonderful meadow which has remained unchanged for centuries. The Meadow is full of wildlife and is home to Christ Church's own long-horn cattle. There is a beautiful tree-lined walk down to the river Isis and there are lots of grass areas which lend themselves to a picnic or are a perfect setting to while away the day with a book. We are also a pleasant walk from the well-known Botanical Gardens. It is also possible to hire a punt or rowing boat nearby.
A light and bright common room with comfy chairs is available to our guests. Here you can relax and have a cup of coffee or tea, browse through the newspapers, read a book, watch TV in the adjacent room or check your email.
The Lodge staff will be happy to store small amounts of luggage for short periods of time.
Laundry facilities are available for self-service use.
There is a branch of LA Fitness located on St Ebbes Street, a 5-minute walk from Christ Church. Visitor gym passes are available for £10 per day.

Mr Rodger Stocks, April 2014: The care and attention I received when I fell in the quad and broke my hip was excellent. Sadly I was not able to complete the second night as I was at the John Radcliffe Hospital. I would like to come again next year and maybe organise a group of fellow ex National Trust staff.
Mrs Mary Stanek, April 2014: It was a pleasure to stay at Oxford in the dorms. A truly unique experience. We loved being part of the campus for a day. The support and help from the staff in the Lodge was wonderful. They made all the difference in the world. A strong recommend. We will return
Mrs Susan Thompson, April 2014: Wonderful skeleton staff on over the weekend. The porter I had the great fortune to deal with was excellent, informative, interested and in general a tremendous asset for the college to have.

Went to evensong. went to the picture gallery.

Dr Marta Romanengo, April 2014: it was very nice to stay at christ church, the college is magnificent.
PS :I left my eu-uk adaptor in the desk socket

Prof Maria-Regina Kecht, April 2014: We enjoyed the university setting tremendously!
Mr Andrew Lacey, April 2014: Everyone we had dealings with was helpful and informative. The room was peaceful with no noise from lifts, central heating, traffic or air conditioning; it was not too hot and the windows worked. The view was not of a concrete slab containing windows, but of the cathedral and pleasant college views. I have already strongly recommended it to friends and shall not hesitate to do so again.
Ms Mary Wheater, April 2014: Staying at Christchurch College enhanced the experience of visiting Oxford. The sitting room was spacious and comfortable, and the bedrooms, small and comfortable. Breakfast in the Great Hall - particularly good croissants. We also enjoyed Christchurch cathedral, especially when the crowds had dissipated.
Some people might not like the bathroom facilities being on a different floor and might object to the lack of a television, but both these features were made very clear when booking.
Overall a delightful visit and excellent value for money.
Mr Martin Peel, April 2014: Great location and an opportunity to enjoy some historic buildings and gardens. Room comfortable if a bit basic. Wi fi worked well though. Hope to come again before too long.
Dr Iben Plate, April 2014: Most wonderful surroundings! Very friendly staff.
Mr Graham Duxbury, April 2014: Loved it so much I intend to come again! Only tiny gripe is that there should be more tea and coffee pots available at breakfast- I ended up with cold tea. Overall it was a magical experience - all the college staff were so kind and friendly.
Mrs doreen greene, April 2014: I have been going for eight years. Always enjoy staying at Christ Church, particularly in Meadows. I did not like the ticketing arrangements but I do not think that is your problem. Many thanks for making our stay enjoyable.
Mrs Jacqueline Kyte, April 2014: Particularly lovely to be able to stay in the College which is the hub of the Literary festival.
Mr Michael Boemo, March 2014: The wonderful woman who serviced our room daily, Linda from Venezuela, made our stay comfortable and accommodating; she gets honorary mention here. We visit Oxford twice a year. Our son is a Ph.D. student at Christ Church. Thank you for all you continue to do for students and visitors. Every best wish!
Mr Geoffrey Stratton, March 2014: I would not normally dream of spending that much on bed and breakfast but did it as a once-only special occasion experience. I now find myself considering it again.
Mr charles hendy, March 2014: Another excellent and enjoyable stay. Lovely food at breakfast. It was a shame we could not attend the closing dinner due to cost.

Dr Jennifer Lee, March 2014: Fantastic experience in the Christ Church dorms - would heartily recommend it to everyone!
Dr Gerald Jones, March 2014: We had a most enjoyable stay - we will be returning!
Mrs Victoria Topham, March 2014: The service was excellent. Our rooms in Peckwater had not been cleaned but the excellent porters organised new rooms in blueboar for our party of 8 to move to and they were really nice. We had a great visit, thanks
Miss Nicola Gollan, March 2014: We always have such a lovely time staying at Christ Church, and this year was no exception!
Miss Carrie Gunn, March 2014: Fantastic location & surroundings. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. A little surprised to find shared bathrooms but maybe I did not read this clearly on the website, albeit the showers were a luxury! Room was cold when we first arrived so maybe if the heating could be popped on a low heat before arrival. Breakfast was second to none. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.
Mrs Anthea Turner, March 2014: We much appreciated the college's helpful response to our request for a room without lots of stairs - thank you!
Staff were helpful, and friendly, throughout our stay.
The signposting, with approximate walking times between festival venues, was good.
A thoroughly enjoyable stay, and we very much hope to see you next year!
Mrs Anna Madge, March 2014: An excellent experience
Prof Goran Ekstrom, March 2014: This was the perfect option for my 3-day stay in Oxford.
Ms Susanne Deicke, March 2014: It was great!
Mrs deborah cunningham, March 2014: Comfortable room and very convenient location. Everyone at Christchurch very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend
Ms Paraskevi Lisgara, March 2014: Lovely! Thank you.
Ms Georgina Hobson, March 2014: All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay.
Mr Peter Wells, March 2014: We had an absolutely wonderful time visiting our son in Oxford. Christ Church is a fantastic location to stay!
Mr Des McDermott, March 2014: Overall, an excellent and enjoyable experience.
Mrs Jenny Bourke, March 2014: It was lovely staying at Christ Church, it is such a beautiful setting and it was excellent value for money? One must remember, however, it is student accommodation, with twin beds etc. Everything works very well and it was spotless. We chose to eat in the great Hall and that was super, lovely food with very good service.
Ms Carol Hunter, March 2014: Myself and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed our overall experience in Oxford. Being able to stay in college accommodation enhanced our stay. We will doubtless return next year.
Mr Paul Dix, March 2014: Everyone very helpful. Room was very clean and facilities were good. B reakfast good and we also had evening meal which was fine.
The second time we have stayed at Christ Church and can recommend it.
Dr Ling Ge, March 2014: Excellent in every way!
Miss SUE HAYNES, March 2014: Loved my 3 day stay in Christ Church college Oxford.Glorious grounds and magnificent buildings, especially the Great Hall where breakfast and dinner were excellent. Had problems with the heating in my room plus my room had not been prepared on arrival - both issues were however resolved promptly. Great mix of guests made for a friendly atmosphere in the Great Hall - unlike many hotels where no-one speaks to each other! College staff also very pleasant and helpful.
Prof James COULTON, March 2014: We were a party of four for dinner only during the Oxford Literary Festival. We enjoyed our 3-course dinner in the Great Hall. We are all Canadians and found the company and conversation stimulating and memorable. A wonderful introduction to Oxford.
Hence, we have no comments on the room or the breakfast as above.
The Great Hall was some cold for even we hearty Canadians.
We would recommend dinner at Christ Church Great Hall in the highest possible terms.
Mr Stuart Chamberlain, March 2014: I really enjoyed the whole experience
Mrs Saara Pilhjerta Falck-Pedersen, March 2014: Excellent experience in the oldest collage in Oxford even if the rooms were simple and the bathroom two floors below. Fantastic view to the library from the room. I felt we stayed in a place where time has stopped. The Great Hall breakfast was fabulous.
Mrs Beryl Kilpatrick, March 2014: Attention to request for ground floor room excellent but found shower a bit difficult. Unfortunately the lift to the Hall for breakfast broke down over the weekend and repairers not available! Scout excellent, felt secure and nothing prevented an excellent weekend. Thank you.
Mr Ivan Lathouders, March 2014: I really enjoyed my stay.
It was simply magical.
Mr JMCG Blanken van den Berg, March 2014: I enjoyed my stay at CCC very much.
Miss Sarah Evans, March 2014: Fabulous experience - marvellous breakfast
Mrs Elena Perez, March 2014: It was amazing and I can't wait to come back!!
Mrs Helen Airey, March 2014: Had another fantastic stay for the Oxford literary festival . Rooms great , breakfast even better than last year couldn't fault it . Look forward to planning next year already ! Thanks Helen Airey
Miss Nicky Blake, March 2014: It was great to stay in the heart of Oxford and actually feel part of the history instead of an anonymous hotel. Dinner in the Great Hall was fab and met some really fun people.
Mr Simon Dismore, March 2014: Very much enjoyed my stay. Dinner in the Great Hall excellent as was breakfast. Room clean and comfortable.
Mr Levente Hajdu, October 2013: I feel I got better value for money staying in Oxford at Christ Church then if I had gone to a hotel. The service is about the same (bed sheets, towels, soap, WiFi , and breakfast) but the architecture, history and gardens are considerably finer.
I am an Inspector Morse fan and wanted to visit locations where it was filmed (Christ Church was used in "The Daughters of Cain"). The ability to get access to a normally private college is a wonderful thing. As a residential guest I could come and go anytime day or night (perfect for night photography), you get a key (fob) to the little door in the porter's lodge which is locked after 9:00PM. And you're given a badge to pass by the porters lodge when it's open. Once I neglected to adequately brandish my badge and just flew through the back entrance the porter came running after me, but it was perfectly cordial.
Breakfast is in the main dining hall, which is very grand. There were no students at the time. I went to sit with the college servants, but I was kindly invited to sit at high table as a guest of the college, which was an honor for me. I sat next to an Australian woman who was there to do research on illuminated manuscripts at the Bodleian Library. They are a bit touchy about photographing during breakfast which I guess is understandable. And breakfast is a bit early.
I would stay there again,
(Please excuse my American Spellings)
Dr Elaine Shaw, October 2013: I have to say that of the four colleges I stayed in whilst I was in England, Christ Church was my favourite and St John's a very close second. Everything was just perfect.
Mr Mark Jones, October 2013: A truly wonderful stay. Beautiful surroundings and excellent location. The architecture at Christ Church college is breathtaking. Fully recommended.
Mr Brian Callaghan, October 2013: We stayed overnight in Christchurch on a Saturday night. We had a nice en-suite room with a lovely view towards the sports-grounds and over the master's gardens. The room was secure, comfortable and quiet, with free WiFi access, and the Christchurch travel toiletries bags are a lovely touch. The college Porters were also extremely friendly and helpful. We had a nice walk in the grounds and took in a wonderful Evensong in the Cathedral. On Sunday morning we had a lovely breakfast in the Great Hall, at top table no less, with plenty of cereal, yogurt, fruit, croissants and a full English breakfast. Staying in Christchurch was a lovely experience and I would recommend it highly to anyone staying in the Oxford area out of term. We also believe we got extremely good value for money compared with Hotels in the area.
Ms Carmen Bishop, September 2013: Very friendly and helpful staff to deal with when I took many wrong turns. Room was very tidy and sweet. Fantastic grounds and nice stay.
Dr Elizabeth Joyce, September 2013: Lovely to experience the Oxford University life is a small way. The atmosphere in Christchurch is magnificent. The staff all very welcoming. Breakfast in the Great Hall was a highlight.
Ms Lyle Lawson, September 2013: It was a wonderful experience and I would stay at Christchurch College again if I made another trip to Oxford.
Ms Sally Stone, September 2013: Can't remember room no. Was in Meadows stairway 3
very warm welcome on arrival and very friendly staff throughout my stay. I'll be back!
Mr Richard Belsey, September 2013: The few staff that I did meet were all very helpful.
The picturesque buildings and the location made it a good choice.
Breakfast in the hall was a nice touch.
Mrs Carolyn Perry, September 2013: There were several problems with my room, but the Porter corrected those right away.
The overall experience was amazing...the environment, evensong in the Cathedral, breakfast in the great hall, and the helpfulness of all the people there.
It is a memory I will cherish forever.
Thank you for sharing your lovely and amazing place with me.
Ms Sarah Ní Chinnsealaigh, September 2013: Staff, especially the older gentleman at Tom Tower, went above and beyond to be kind and helpful. Nicest staff I've ever encountered in all my travels. Room spacious and spotless clean. It was one of the nicest stays I've had due to the location and beautiful setting if the college. Breakfast in Hall was lovely and I enjoyed meeting all the interesting people sitting at high table. Staff made the whole thing 5star
Ms Birgitte Mohr, September 2013: Not only a beautyful and historical place to stay, but the knidness of the staff was overwhelming. We will be back.
Mr Peter Dooley, September 2013: All very good thanks, we enjoyed our stay very much (more information about where we could park (Meadows) would have been helpful pre arrival
Mr Arnold Root, September 2013: Rooms such as this offer a unique opportunity to stay in exceptional surroundings at modest prices. Waking up and looking out on Peckwater Quad is enough to lift anyone's heart. The room itself was basic (and the old metal bed base was so bad I put the (comfortable) mattress on the floor) and the shared shower even more basic, but these disadvantages were more than compensated for by the exceptional surroundings, the pleasure of eating an excellent breakfast in the magnificent hall of 1529 and the modest price. All the staff I met were friendly and very helpful.
Ms Amelia Kelly, September 2013: Great hospitality all round! Many thanks.
Ms Constance Deschamps, September 2013: I thought it was a great place to stay, the staff were very helpful and the history was worth every penny.
Mrs Pat Hayles, September 2013: The ensuite rooms at Christchurch are extremely well designed, with fridge, hairdryer, good bag of amenities (including an Oxford coaster), box of tissues, coffee tea and great WiFi! Having a ful breakfast at the High Table in the Great Hall is something not to be missed, as well as using ones own personal fob to enter a spectacularly beautiful, silent, quad after dark.
Mr Robin Barfoot, September 2013: We really enjoyed the experience. The little gift bags were a nice touch. All in all, a great time was had by all four of us. It would have been nice to be able to buy (in advance) the breakfast for friends in Oxford we were visiting. I hope you keep doing this.
Ms Kay McArdle, September 2013: I cannot recommend Christchurch highly enough! I had a wonderful stay and was particularly impressed by the friendliness of all the staff. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, and breakfast in hall was a wonderful experience. A stunning place to stay, right in the centre of Oxford, and very reasonably priced.
Mr David Currie, September 2013: Had a fantastic stay at Christchurch College - amazing venue, excellent and friendly service from all staff, brilliant breakfasts and the views from our rooms were fantastic! Would definitely recommend this option to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Oxford!
Mr David Heley, September 2013: amazing time in an amazing place-thank you so much
Dr Yumiko Yokozeki, September 2013: It was a lovely room but on the third floor and a bit far for someone with a large suitcase with lots of books. I had to leave 8am so could not have breakfast. However, the whole experience was wonderful with such a beautiful and historical place. Both scouts and porters could not be nicer, more helpful and more professional! Thanks.
Mrs Jill Hawkesworth, September 2013: Excellent value for money. Single accommodation without the single supplement charges! Hair dryer, tea/coffee & shampoo/shower gel provided.
Next time I will bring a small radio.
Ms Margaret Theresa Fitzmaurice, September 2013: I found the gate porters, scouts and restaurant staff extremely welcoming and considerate. It was wonderful to be able to wander around areas that are usually closed to the general public. Breakfast in the hall was a highlight.
Mrs Lelia Bratt, September 2013: Excellent accommodation, very friendly welcome and professional service from scouts. Thank you
Mr Terry Duchow, September 2013: Excellent! A great opportunity for an American to get a glimpse of university life. Nice support services, particularly laundry. Took advqntage of services at Christ Church cathedral. Breakfast in hall fabulous. Please be sure you are on Trip Advisor and any other similar to get the word out. Fantastic opportunity at good price. Thanks.
Ms Geraldine Byrne, September 2013: We loved staying there. We were in Oxford for a party given by the Rector of Exeter College.. We went to Vespers at the Cathedral, and the Australian grandchildren were impressed to get photos of Harry Potter's dinner room.
Thank you and will definitely recommend it to friends.
Miss Samantha Hibbert, September 2013: Excellent accomodation and staff. The breakfast in the great hall was a truly memorable experience. I hope to visit again in the near future
Mr Gopi Kuppuraj, September 2013: My experience staying in the Blue Boar en-suite of Christchurch was very good! Located in St. Aldates, it is easy to visit around Oxford by walk. The room was just perfect for a single visitor like myself with all necessary basic facilities. However, I haven't had the chance to eat the breakfast at the historic hall since the conference I was attending started as early as 8.00 in the morning. To stay within the buildings that boasted historic architectures was superb. Very friendly staff too. It would be great to show the Porter's Lodge clearly on the map. It is where one would check-in, I didn't realize having walked right passed it because a lot of tourist were standing in front of the Tom gate. I highly recommend Christchurch to anyone thinking of making a visit to Oxford.
Ms Magdalena Dushkina, September 2013: It was a pleasure to be able to stay in Christ Church accommodation. It was clean, functional and secure. The porters were very helpful. In particular, the opportunity to have breakfast in the Great Hall was a wonderful experience.
Dr soon bin Neoh, September 2013: It was an amazing experience staying at Christ Church College , the front desk service was excellent , the breakfast in the great hall was good , the rooms were new, comfortable and well equipped but it was the ambience and historical significance of the place that was overwhelming . My daughter who is a Harry Porter fan loved the place especially the great hall and its staircase . We explored the cathedral, picture gallery , gardens and other historical buildings , they were all outstanding . The only disadvantage is the residences do not have lifts so heavy luggage may be an issue
Prof Lisa Cooper, September 2013: I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Christchurch, in room 13 at the very top of the Meadows building (can't remember which door but I believe it was #3). Yes, it was a climb up, but it was worth it for the high sloped ceiling and the view back over the Great Hall and towers. The room was spotless: comfortable bed, excellent shower; breakfast (seated at the High Table, no less, on that particular day) was terrific, not to mention atmospheric. I would stay at Christchurch every time I visited Oxford if room was available (though probably not if traveling by car if I wanted my car very nearby, as I did the night before this stay when I stayed at St. Stephen's with my family in order to be able to park where we were staying).
Mr Andre Bester, August 2013: The porters and other staff were friendly and helpful and the overall experience was memorable.
Mr Simon Taylor, August 2013: The lodge staff were extremely extremely helpful - wish I had the names to receive the deserved praise - but great experience and amazing ambassadors of this fantastic venue
Miss Deborah Masters, August 2013: It was a great find and I loved breakfast in the Great Hall and having the college to yourself before it was open to the tourists was superb. One minor comment is that it would be helpful to make clear what you should do if you arrive at the college on the first night after the gates have closed. It was lucky that the porter happened to walk out of one of the other gates!
Miss Alicia Vaccaro, August 2013: So amazing to stay at this beautiful college! Such a memorable stay. Eating in the great hall was so cool. Definitely worth the money!!
Mr Anthony Roe, August 2013: A gem of a place to stay. Porters and staff wonderful.
Mr Mark Belcher, August 2013: Excellent service and a comfortable, clean room: the only slight drawback was that breakfast was only served from 8-9, and check-out was at 10am, which was all a little early.
Ms Kiri Namtvedt, August 2013: While this was the most expensive room of our trip so far, it was most definitely worth it! I loved the Oxford experience and wished we had stayed two nights! The location and staff could not be better.
Ms Henriette Bersee, August 2013: It was an unforgetable experience to walk over premises at night.
Miss Julie Rudwick, August 2013: Very comfortable and welcoming - we will be back! Breakfast in the Great Hall was one of the many highlights. Thank you
Mr Richard Miles, August 2013: We have had a wonderful stay in the Meadows rooms. The accommodation, facilities and service were all excellent .Breakfast on the high table in the Great Hall was an unforgettable experience
Mr Atsuhiko Jotani, August 2013: We really enjoyed staying at the Cristchurch College.
Miss Hazel Thomas, August 2013: It has been a great experience, staying in the Meadows building at Christ Church and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff are all very friendly and helpful; the breakfasts were excellent and it was very quiet overnight. You do need to be reasonably fit and active - I was in a top floor room and there were 132 steps between my room and the great hall! It did mean I had a lovely view over Oxford though. A very special way to experience Oxford.
Prof Kenshi Sakai, August 2013: It was so great for me. WiFi was not worked in my room. But, no-internet environment was also good for me.
Mrs ROSALIND JANSSEN, August 2013: An amazing, not to be forgotten experience. Sitting at breakfast on top table in the Great Hall with a portrait of Henry VIII behind me, a beautiful choir at evensong in the cathedral, and the wonderful Christ's College picture gallery. Peter, one of the porters, was incredibly helpful and greatly enhanced the experience. Thank you.
Mr Philip Martin, August 2013: It was really enjoyable stay. The grounds of Christ College was incredible.
Mr Kirit Talati, August 2013: We thoroyghly enjoyed the atmosphere at Christ Church. Staff was very helpful sometimes going out of their way to help.
We wished access to master garden was opened at 7 AM to allow the resident guest to visit before breakfast.
Dr Justin Webb, August 2013: Excellent experience at Christ College. The only negative feedback was the inability to connect to the guest wifi network. The room however was vary spacious and well appointed.
Mr Nigel Smart, August 2013: I was very happy with this experience. It adelivered all that was promised, and more.
Ms Adele White, August 2013: An altogether enjoyable experience which I would definitely use again.
Prof Kiyoshi Hirowatari, August 2013: I really appreciate the excellent service given by 'the other place'.
Gareth Lewis, August 2013: Beautiful environment made the stay worthwhile.
Ms Caroline Johnson-Marshall, August 2013: Lovely experience and one which I will repeat. The servitors and staff could not have been kinder and nicer which makes such a huge difference, thankyou.
Mrs Jennifer Holmes, August 2013: Your excellent facilities, superb breakfast and friendly service put many expensive hotels to shame. I'll be back!
Mrs ELIZABETH MORTON, August 2013: Incredibly friendly staff, resonance of Tudor England, and an immensely peaceful room all contributed to a lovely stay.
Mr Alan Morris, August 2013: A very enjoyable experience, with excellent staff and facilities. We intend to return next year.
Mrs Patricia Menke, August 2013: This was a wonderful stay. The staff were so friendly and it was a great experience staying at Christ Church and having the opportunity of having breakfast in Hall.
Thank you so much.
Miss TINGTING LI, August 2013: It is a very special experience to live here, Christ Church is wonderful ,the staffs are kind and helpful, and the breakfast is amazing that is in the Harry Potter filming~~My friend and I love it very much!
Mrs Sarah Coote, August 2013: Wow! What an amazing place to stay. Lovely staff. Loved the Porters in their bowler hats!
Ms Helen Bradley, August 2013: I was allocated a ground-level room having asked if possible not to be. The staff bent over backwards to find me another room. I was finally upgraded to a beautiful room overlooking the meadows. The staff could not have been kinder or more courteous. I would definitely stay again. It was a privilege to have access to so many areas of this stunning college in the peace and quiet before the daily visitors arrived and after they had left in the evening. The setting for breakfast in the Great Hall is unbelievable and the range of fresh fruit, croissants and cooked breakfasts was fantastic. It is an ideal place for a solo traveller to stay. The kind of hotel accommodation you would get for this kind of price just doesn't compare.
Mrs Hilary Betty, August 2013: A perfect location for experiencing all Oxford has to offer. We were very impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of the porters, scouts and dining room staff and would have no hesitation in recommending Christ Church university rooms to anyone.
Mrs Bonnie McNeely, August 2013: A wonderful experience and very enriching. The rooms were well equipped and hard to imagine they are student rooms!
The experience of staying and dining at an Oxford college is a unique and special way to enjoy Oxford!
Ms Friederike Tschampa, August 2013: Very nice experience except and extremely kind staff for service in dining hall. Thanks to the College for allowing "ordinary travellers" access.
Miss Nicola Wood, August 2013: Thank you for a lovely stay. ALL staff very helpful and extremely friendly. Staying at the College definately enhanced our trip to Oxford!
Mrs Catherine Harrison, August 2013: Wonderful stay, really enjoyed ourselves. would recommend to friends and would come again. Excellent location, visited Picture Gallery and attended Matins in Christ Church, so a wonderful Oxford experience.
Mr Paul Wooster, August 2013: A most enjoyable experience, the porters were very helpful and responsive to all requests. Christchurch is a most beautiful and fascinating place, will certainly come back!
Miss Sue Stevens, August 2013: A wonderful room! All in all a great experience. All the staff were really helpful
Mr John-Paul Bukowski, August 2013: It was a really great experience; the college is wonderful and you can enjoy some nice walk around.
The porters were really nice and helpful , one of them even provided me with a plug adaptor late at night !
Mr Martin Banister, August 2013: I was sorry I could not book another week.
Miss RUTH DERRICK, August 2013: This was a wonderful experience, which we much enjoyed. After a lovely day exploring the Colleges, it was a real treat to attend Evensong and then dine in Christchurch Hall - before going back to stay in Somerville College overnight. The Hall itself was beautiful and the food excellent. Service was slick and efficient. I appreciated being contacted by email before we arrived to check whether we had any queries - and felt that Carly dealt with my question over the required dress code very efficiently and quickly ( maybe that could be added somewhere on the website? We weren't sure whether we needed to pack anything special to wear for dinner...). Thank you for everything.
Ms Pauline Venables, August 2013: Eating breakfast in the Grand Hall was an amazing experience. We've never taken so long over a breakfast before. All the staff were very friendly. Everyone went out of their way to help, especially the porter in the lodge.
Prof Leong Chuan Kwek, August 2013: I have had experience with my visit to colleges in both Cambridge (as a visiting Professor) and Oxford and I think the experience was generally good.
Mr Keith Jackson, August 2013: Had a wonderful stay . Highly recommend it . Price is good . Christ Church is in a great location to ..
Mr Kenneth Juul Andersen, August 2013: A truly excellent stay in your college with very helpful service from the staff and very nice rooms. I would love to return soon. Just being in Christ Church is in itself a terrific experience. I am not quite sure about the room number, but it was in staircase no. 3 on the third floor (perhaps no. 15?). In any case, the room was divided into two floors with the bed on the first floor and kitchen / washroom on the second floor.
Miss Selina Busch, August 2013: My experience staying in the St. Aldate's Quad of Christ Church College has been excellent! Very convenient for visiting the centre of Oxford. Service even better than an expensive hotel. Huge room just for myself (single traveller), ensuite, towels, shower, soap etc & tea/coffee making facilities & fridge. Quiet room in old complex. You will not easily forget the breakfast, sitting in the beautiful historic Great Hall: an experience in itself. Choice for breakfast the best I ever had. Lots of fresh fruit, nuts, yoghurt, and of course full English, fresh toast, porridge, tea, coffee; the whole works. Very friendly staff too.
I higly recommend this to anyone thinking of making a visit to Oxford.
Miss Paula Savage, August 2013: I really enjoyed my stay here, my room was split up into 2 rooms, one with bed and bathroom and the other with a fridge, desk, and armchairs. The value for money here is excellent, the decor of the rooms is a bit basic but apart from that it was much better than staying in the hotels which are double the price. The buildings are absolutely beautiful and I'd highly recommend staying here!
Miss Yvonne Smith, August 2013: Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The breakfast was a particular highlight.
Mrs Jacqueline Mailandt, August 2013: While the room was basic, as expected, the location would be hard to beat. Walking to my room through the Tom Quad in the evening as the sun is setting, as the bells ring and there is not a sole to be found....priceless.
Ms Susan Edwards, August 2013: A great place to stay. Will book again.
Miss Rene Janse van rensburg, July 2013: I had a lovely stay in Blue Boar facilities- and Christ Church was just breath taking!! My room was spotless and neat and serviced daily by my scout. The little bag with soaps and goodies in, was a lovely bonus. I found the information file very helpful when i had to locate the bus service. The only improvement is to mark the office better where one fetches your key. I didnt know where to go and walked right passed it because a lot of tourist where standing in the enterance... some student showed me. The whole experience was just wonderful and eating in the Great Hall- a dream come true!!! thank you....
Mr Charles Evans-Gunther, July 2013: I enjoyed my stay at Christ Church and found everyone kind and helpful, It is well positioned for visited all the sites and not too far from the railway station. My only complaint, and it is far from being a big complaint, is the lack of en suite toilet. I didn't mind not having an en suite shower or bath but a toilet would have been good. Nevertheless I would recommend staying at Christ Church to anyone.
Mr Andrew Brook, July 2013: All an excellent stay and experience. All staff were most helpful and friendly. Very cost effective stay and prime location choice. Thankyou
Miss Jenny Young, July 2013: Had such a fantastic time staying here overnight. Was a great experience staying somewhere different to the ususl B&Bs. The staff were all extreemly helpful and the facitiltes were great. Couldn't fault it, and have already recommended you to many. Thanks
Miss Martina Lueneburg, July 2013: I really enjoyed staying with you at Christ Church and have already told my friends and colleagues about my good experience. My highlight was sitting at the High Table each morning for breakfast. That was a fabulous start for each day. Thanks for a wonderful holiday in Oxford.
Mr Flemming Thornæs Hansen, July 2013: The double room in the Meadow Building facing the meadow was splendid and to have breakfast at high table in the great hall was a rare and most fantastic experience.
Prof Kimberly Reed, July 2013: This was a superb experience. Staying in such a beautiful, historic building within Christ Church, enjoying the gardens after hours, having breakfast in the Great Hall--it was extraordinary.
Dr Liam Morrison, July 2013: Very enjoyable stay, room quite basic but comfortable, breakfast great. fantastic location - incredible value for money in Oxford.
Mr Andrew Johnston, July 2013: Really love the whole experience of staying in such a beautiful and historical setting. Great to see Oxford University doing this and I will be back for a visit again soon.
Ms Irene Urquhart, July 2013: Very decent accommodation, well worth the money. Staff at the Lodge and elsewhere were exceptionally helpful. Altogether a most enjoyable experience.
Mr David Street, July 2013: Wonderful experience. The buildings, location and staff were superb. Eating at the high table was very special.
Dr Walter Prehn, July 2013: It was a blessing to be there at Christ Church, and I'm grateful that the Dean and Students made the decision to allow the general public to stay in the College. CP
Miss Jenny Rogers, July 2013: An absolutely fabulous experience from start to finish. So cheap for B&B (£50), brilliant staff, massive room, beautiful setting, and breakfast at high table in CC Great Hall: you CANNOT ask for more. Thoroughly recommended, and I will definitely come again!
Mrs Maureen Almond, April 2013: Evening meals were excellent and beautifully cooked. Thank you.
Dr Jessie McGowan, March 2013: Wonderful!
Mrs june hendy, March 2013: Lovely environment, good food, polite efficient staff. Would have liked to have had a hairdryer in the room but I am sure if I had asked a Porter, one would have been foundl
Mrs Laura Ciccolallo, March 2013: Really a pleasant stay, staff very helpful and kind, comfortable room, unique experience
Mrs Barbara Markkanen, March 2013: We loved staying in Christchurch , it is a wonderful experience and a perfect place to be for the Oxford Literary Festival.
The weather was freezing and the rooms lovely and warm but the boiler was very noisy and disturbed our sleep.
Mr Julian Hick, March 2013: Basic room but warm and good shower. Friendly and helpful staff. Great views. Excellent location right in middle of city but quiet.
Dr Maggie Bartlett, March 2013: I very much enjoyed the experience and would use this service again.
Mrs Caroline De Brun, March 2013: Absolutely splendid. I paid the lowest price, and so my room was basic, but very clean and spacious. The experience of being within the walls of Christchurch College was amazing, and I was even able to participate in Evensong, which was beautiful. As for the breakfast, well, that was outstanding. Delicious, fresh, and such a stunning environment, with welcoming open fires. I only came back last night, but have already recommended it to 5 people as a fabulous place to stay in Oxford. Thank you. Caroline De Brun
Mrs Elizabeth van Zeeland, March 2013: My father and I had a lovely time staying at Christchurch and would definately do it again. The porters and all the staff could not have been more helpful or friendly.
Mrs Philippa Rees, March 2013: The Staff at Christchurch were very friendly and efficient.
Mrs Kasia Reed, March 2013: Wonderful stay
Mrs Debbie Grantham, March 2013: Room was light and pleasant and felt brighter than previous years. Good that the room was warm when we arrived after a long journey too- thank you. Would have been nice to have had a small bar of soap at the sink. Liked the new keyfob entry.
Mrs Caroline Boon, March 2013: Room was lovely! Great value for money
Mrs Valerie Harrison, March 2013: Thank you for a great stay
Ms Margaret Munro, March 2013: Good sized top-floor room & en-suite, with a lovely outlook. Scruffy furnishings typical of student accomodation. It would have been useful to know how many stairs there were (in fact over 60). Fabulous setting and breakfast in the Great Hall. Unbeatable.
Mr john bamfield, March 2013: We very much enjoyed the room and the college setting. It added considerably to the experience of the Literary Festival
Ms Alice O' Flynn, March 2013: It's a great experience staying in Christ Church..the personnel, accommodation and setting was just so lovely....
the only issue was the internet connection was a wee bit problematic at times
Mr Dominic Chetwode Clarke, March 2013: A very enjoyable experience and a something of a privilege to be admitted, albeit briefly, into an otherwise esoteric academic sanctum.
Mr James Nairne, March 2013: Clean and comfortable in a lovely college. Loved the Breakfast experience (Good choice of cereals - always my test) - although a bit cattle-like as hugely full for Oxford Literary Festival!
Mrs Lara Maxwell, March 2013: I had a wonderful stay at Christ Church. While it was a typical dorm room (Peckwater Quad), it was larger than I expected and quite comfortable. The staff were excellent - always friendly and helpful. There was a large selection at breakfast, the food was good, but the best part was sitting in the Hall, soaking up the history. The College buildings are beautiful and I really enjoyed exploring the grounds. Highly recommend a stay here!
Miss Nicola Gollan, March 2013: A lovely stay, as always!
Prof Tetsuo Yoshimoto, March 2013: The staff responded our request regarding the room professionally. It was a great service that I expect from a 5-star accommodation. The dinner at Christ Church was above our expectation, and is definitely a top-lanked in Oxford.
Ms Jessy Morton, March 2013: I didn't have breakfast but enjoyed a superb dinner! My son is very jealous (he is 7yrs old) as I didn't bring him to the Harry Potter hall with me!
Thank you so much for your service!
Mrs Laraine Sowden, March 2013: Our first visit to Oxford was very enjoyable and made even more so by staying at Christ Church. The whole experience was very special. From evensong in the Cathedral, to our rooms and breakfast in the superb Dining Hall - all very good. Would highly recommend staying and would definitely book again.
Miss Dorthe Andersen, March 2013: I assume this is for the 3 course dinner, I had on the 16th in the hall at Christ Church. It was a very good experience. The place is absolutely beautiful, the food was nice and there was such interesting dinner conversation. A very nice evening,
Mrs Linda Mullen, March 2013: A thoroughly enjoyable stay. Enhanced our visit to the book festival. Many thanks .p.s. Would have been helpful to have the option of requesting a room facing the Meadows at the time of booking.
Mrs june hendy, March 2013: Excellent choice of delicious food. The Great Hall is a fantastic place in which to have a meal. All members of staff polite, efficient and helpful. Very clean room. It would have been appreciated if a hairdryer was available in the room but I expect the Porters would have magiced one up if asked! It was magical to draw the curtains on Sunday morning and see falling snow transforming the House into an even more beautiful place.
Mrs Sue Powell, March 2013: We only booked dinner which was excellent service and food and would definately do again sometime. Website is difficult to work out first time just for a meal booking. So room comments not applicable. Thank you.
Dr Benjamin Authers, March 2013: Wonderful accommodating staff and a fantastic breakfast in an amazing setting!

Ms Joan Block, October 2012: Very lovely experience! Thank you for opening up the college to guests.
Ms Caoimhe Teresa Whelan, October 2012: Very enjoyable stay.
Miss Nikki Gordon Jones, October 2012: Loved the whole experience, and the ability to enjoy the college - the Cathedral, the dining hall, and the courtyards at leisure. From a Cambridge gal that's definitely a compliment. Oh and don't forget the fantastic porters (scouts in your ling).
Ms Iris Mack, October 2012: I enjoyed my stay. The people were very friendly and helpful. And Christ Church is just a lovely place to stay!
Dr J MacDonagh, October 2012: Very friendly portering and front gate staff who made my stay a great experience. Range of food at breakfast a bit variable. Overall a good place to stay and thanks for your hospitality!
Mr Alexander Mills, October 2012: I had a very enjoyable stay at Christ Church Oxford and would highly recommend a stay at this truly incredible place! The staff were extremely friendly and the service second to none. The breakfast which was served in the breathtaking tudor hall was absolutely delicious and I found the room extremely spacious and very comfortable! My stay at Christ Church College totally exceeded my expectations and I would definately stay again!

M. marc GALERNEAU, September 2012: excellent séjour confortable, petit déjeuner typique dans un cadre historique. a recommander.
Ms Susan Merrick, September 2012: Wonderful place to stay. We will definitely be back and recommend it to others.
Mr edward forward, September 2012: Real friendliness enjoyed eating at the seat of Government, even if it was Cronwell's in the heart of it and with wonderful views and gardens.
Mr Stuart Rogers, September 2012: All of the staff and the Porters at reception particularly were extremely hospitable and welcoming. The use of the College facilities was tremendous. A great experience!
Prof Richard Collin, September 2012: It was a lovely stay. The porters were exceptionally pleasant, and the room was perfect.
Mrs Joanne Walters, September 2012: I had a very enjoyable stay. The experience was much more exciting than similar-priced or more expensive accomodation in Oxford.
Mr David Sidwell, September 2012: A wonderful experience
Ms Katherine Watson, September 2012: Fantastic double room in Meadows Hall of ChristChurch. Such a privilege to have access to the stunning building and grounds, cooked breakfast as a vegetarian was quite limited but plenty of fruit and cereal. Would definitely recommend and will use again. The best way to see Oxford.
Mrs Marie Finkelman, September 2012: With your wonderfully thorough descriptions and reasonable prices, I found accommodations that perfectly fit my travel needs. Thank you!!
Mr Graham Shirbon, August 2012: The whole experience was very good indeed, The ambiance e of the college was particularly good and all the staff were helpful. My wife and I particularly liked being surrounded by Christ Church College's historic buildings and the tranquil atmosphere they created.
We would definitely do another visit.
Ms Liz Romer, August 2012: The whole experience was brilliant. Staff and Porters very helpful. Only stayed one night, wish it could have been longer.
Ms Mary MacKenzie, August 2012: I did not want to leave! I loved staying there.
Very quiet, great computer lab, convenient laundry available
and everyone knew me to let me in and out, very helpful staff. Easy walk to train station. Great walking course beside the campus.
Mr Alan Gowers, August 2012: Very enjoyable experience
Mr Douglas Crook, August 2012: We were given a very pleasant room with a balcony overlooking the Meadows.
The porters were very helpful about storing olur luggage between checking out of the room in the morning and us leaving Oxford in the afternooon.
Mrs Marilla Price, August 2012: I stayed in five colleges throughout my stay in Oxford and Christchurch was by far, superior in so many ways. The porters went out of their way to be helpful, the room was most comfortable and other staff either at the entrance gate or throughout the College were always very friendly. I would have stayed at Christchurch the whole time if there had been a room. This would be my only complaint! I will be making the trip from Sydney to Oxford again and will definitely make sure that I stay in Christchurch.
Mr Garth Hall, August 2012: The atmosphere of Christ Church was wonderful, especially as you experienced it after the crowds had left. Having breakfast in the Great Hall was also a great experience although the staff were a little too prompt in removing the plates, jams, milk etc while you were still eating from them!! The standard of the food was a little too much "canteen" style, though I guess this is inevitable when mass catering. The bedroom was a good size and very clean and modern. We were slightly disappointed that the room itself didn't have more "character". The porters on the gate were very friendly and helpful.
Overall a very enjoyable experience.
Dr Wolfgang Konrad, August 2012: The porters were exceptionally friendly and helpful. One even escorted us to the Meadows Building very late at night. They must be very proud to be working at Christ Church. Many thanks
Miss Christine Calais, July 2012: Very good quality for the price. To have an English breakfast in the Great Hall was just fabulous.
Staying for two nights, I've got two free tickets for the Jubilee Concerts with the room: classical music in Tom Quad, outside. Not very good sound because of the wind and the rain. But interessant to see all the people fighting against cold and humidity with all the means they found!
A tip: I booked a standard student room, not ensuite, to stay in the old buildings. I've got 2 rooms: bedroom and lounge. Talking with Christ Church alumni, here for a reunion: had very small ensuite rooms in Meadows Building.
I would like to thank the very helpful people at the Lodge. As the first room was not cleaned, they changed my room, taking my luggage to the other room. And give me a lot of tea to fight against cold!
Mrs Marie-Laure GOUNIN, July 2012: The room was very nice, very clean. Departure time (9:00am) is a little bit too early, but the porters were flexible and accepted 9:30/10:00 which was nice! The saturday night Jubilee concert was an experience I shall never forget.
Mr Helmuth Habermann, June 2012: We had a delightful time in Oxford, and what a treat to stay at Christ Church College. The breakfast was excellent, as were the accommodations, and we were able to experience a concert in honor of the Queen also. Great value for the money.
Mr Jonathan Lontayao, June 2012: We were very happy with the opportunity to stay at an Oxford College, the deal, and also the website. We would very happily recommend using this site, and will look at this site again for future trips.
Ms jacquelyne tooes, June 2012: This was an excellent experience for my daughter and myself, the college is amazing. We were attending a family party and booked here because most of the hotels were fully booked I am so pleased that they were as we would never have thought of coming to Christ Church. We also attended the Jubilee Concert which was in the setting of Tom Quad and fabulous. The cherry on the cake was breakfast in the hall what a
fantastic place. I very much look forward to coming back as it was breath taking experience. Thank you Christ Church
Mr Martin Floyd, April 2012: Very happy with the whole experience
Mrs Wendy Allsop, April 2012: A great venue. A very special experience.
Ms Doreen Greene, April 2012: I had room on ground floor & close to toilet. Room very comfortable and warm. We all enjoyed our stay. hope to visit again next year.D.V.
Many thanks for your help, particularly Carly. Doreen Greene
Ms alice o' flynn, April 2012: I had a very enjoyable stay in Christ Church university accommodation - the place itself is spectacular and the university staff that were round were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Oxford to stay in CC
Ms deborah morgan, April 2012: Fantastic location and a wonderful experience. There was a lot of noise outside our room in the early hours (saturday night) but for just 1 night this wasn't a big problem. The overall experience was really good.
Mr Frank Dewar, April 2012: Very enjoyable stay again. Many thanks to all concerned and for accommodating others in our party in close proximity.
Mrs Marie Lindo, April 2012: Overall a lovely experience
Mr Charlie Ramsay, April 2012: Very enjoyable experience. My only comment would be that you might consider improving the quality of the pillow cases and duvet cover which my wife pointed out weren't very soft. You might also consider bed covers. Overall excellent, however.
Mrs Jane Russ, April 2012: Another wonderful stay - thank you.
Mrs christine hughes, March 2012: This is the second time we have visited Oxford using your website. The service is very good and there are no problems at all.
Dr Alexander Macfie, March 2012: Very interesting place to stay, thou inevitably a bit old fashioned
Mrs Henrietta Knight, March 2012: There were 5 of us staying in the rooms and we all enjoyed our stay for the Oxford Literary Festival. We shall hopefully be back next year. Thanks.
Mrs Debbie Grantham, March 2012: Better room this year. Always great to come to Oxford
Mr Mike Lynch, March 2012: My wife and I very much enjoyed our visit. What made it a particularly pleasant stay was the straightforward, unobtrusive helpfulness of the staff.
Mr Richard Stokes, March 2012: Brilliant location! Thanks
Mrs Julie West, March 2012: A very enjoyable stay but a slightly late checkout time would have been appreciated
Mrs Ute Oswald, March 2012: Loved staying in beautiful Christ Church College. Rooms very clean and our Peckwater Quod double twin very spacious. Basic, but that was to be expected. Staff v friendly too. Only negative was the awful noise outside our bedrooms. It was a Saturday night and you could hear ever word from people regularly passing by underneath our windows, well into the early hours of the morning. Apart from that, I couldn't fault it.
Mrs G F Underhay, April 2011: I had requested an extra pillow and that was waiting for me. This year a lift had been installed up to the hall, which made life a lot easier. I find the amount of walking very daunting, especially as there are no seats around the quads. I hope to be able to visit again next year.
Cathy Honan, April 2011: a
most enjoyable experience will be booking again for next years festival
and will recommend it to friends
Dalla Jenney, April 2011: It was an absolute joy and a privilege to stay in such unbelievably beautiful and historic surroundings. Our room had the most superb view across Christ Church Meadows and was lovely and warm and spacious.
The only thing that was unclear from the booking was whether breakfast was included (it was).
Debbie Grantham, April 2011: Being an Oxford college the setting looks very grand but the rooms are very dismal with all the nearly black wooden panelling and old furniture. However it must be a challenge to merge the old with the new.
We love Oxford
Mr Keith Hambly-Staite, April 2011: A mixed experience. Impeccable surroundings; some friendly staff but some rather officious. Good food. Worth the visit because of the history of the place but much more commercial than other colleges.
Mrs CLARE JONES, April 2011: excellent experience staying in the college. I should recommend highly , and look forward to next festival
Mrs J S Roe, April 2011: A unique experience which we very much enjoyed.
Marie Tolstad, April 2011: i did need to request towels and coffe......
the porters and generally everyone was helpful and friendly
computer room was very handy..thank you
Aoibheann McCann, April 2011: Porters were delightful . Room lovely . Could have done with a hairdryer and another table lamp . Fridge very noisy.
Overall had a lovely time , will come again thanks.
Frank Farmer, April 2011: We enjoyed the festival very much. The room was a bit spartan and in our mid-seventies, we were a bit thrown when we found that the only WC serving eight rooms on three landings was in the basement! Otherwise, everything was fine, thank you. Frank Faremer
dennis knowles, April 2011: An excellent 2 days wonderful accommodation- vibrant speakers- definite value for money!! Roll on next year !My we have the same room?
Dr Ruth Deroy, April 2011: Oxford at it's best
Judy Spring, April 2011: Really enjoyed the event and accommodation - Christ Church College is a real joy to stay. Even though not a 'luxury' venue, the quintessential historical environment makes up for any luxury elements. Our room was clean, tidy and housekeeping arrangements excellent.
Ms Jilly Szaybo, April 2011: I had an exceptionally pleasant stay, in unusual and comfortable rooms.
Everyone we encountered was courteous, and helpful to a degree. About the rooms: a bedside lamp would have been appreciated ( no socket) and the walls were a bit shabby and colourless, like old porridge. I wouldn't have wanted to stay a week in there, but a short stay was fine! Thank you for the freedom of the college, which we really loved.
Dr Eva Tyson, April 2011: I enjoyed it immensely and staying at Christ Church was an added bonus.
Another bonus was Evensong. I am already planning to return next year.
Susan Fowles, April 2011: I went with a friend & we both had an excellent time. The standard was excellent & we will both go again & recommend it to others. Please provide any information about similar events.
