History to the present day
St. Anne's began in 1879, extending a University education to women who could otherwise not have afforded it.
It became a full College of the University in 1952 and has taken both men and women since 1979. It is now one of Oxford's largest Colleges for both graduates and undergraduates.

Maud Becker, December 2013: Great accomodation, cheap and practical, of good quality, thanks!
Prof Jeremy Frey, September 2013: Excellent place to stay. Conference facilities were also excellent. Only issue I woudl say that more toilets by the lecture theatre would be very useful at coffee/tea time.
Mr Ronald Parkin, September 2013: An extremely pleasant stay in very comfortable accommodation. Many thanks.
Mr Nicolas Herouard, July 2013: Nice room and very nice staff. I missed just a little thing : a fridge in the room to have fresh drinks !

Mr Roger Thomas, January 2012: My booking didn't come with breakfast, so that item should be N/A. Excellent service, anyway - will use again.
Miss Anna Ting Ting Chan, December 2011: The stay was great. The room is very clean, and the location is convenient. It has hotel standard and yet allows me to sample a taste of a college's life like a student studying there. I will definitely stay again at St. Anne's if future allows such an opportunity.
Miss Xanthe Banham, October 2011: On behalf of the whole group we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend the college for future events. Breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were clean and bright. The porters were incredibly helpful and on the whole I was very impressed.

Jan-Hendrik Heinrichs, December 2010: Fairly spartan accommodation, but adequate for a College.
