Overview

Singleton Residences are very close to the centre of Swansea University's compact campus. The residences comprise over 700 Single Non -Ensuite and over 20 Twin Non-Ensuite bedrooms, many with fantastic views across Swansea Bay towards Devon, west to Mumbles and east to Porthcawl.

All rooms have tea and coffee-making facilities and internet access. Laundry facilites are located in Kilvey residences but we have no irons.

Please note that there are only two twin bedrooms per floor. All other rooms are single bedrooms.

The only problem we had was that the en suite shower was awkward to turn off - I suppose it gets a battering during term time.. it showed signs of numerous attempts at being 'mended'. Everyone was very friendly and the experience was on the whole very smooth. We will consider University Rooms in the future.

The reception and catering staff were very helpful and welcoming. I didn't expect a TV in the room but did think there would be somewhere on site to watch the news in the evening (there was TV in the Fusion Cafe during breakfast).

Reception staff @ Preseli were so helpful- many thanks all of you, esp. Dave. Cleaning/ house staff did an excellent job- rooms were in spotless & well-presented.

On the whole a positive experience and good value for money. The accomodation desk staff were very helpful and personable.

Guests should check in at Preseli Residence foyer.

Car parking is available on a first come, first served basis in the main car park adjacent to the campus entrance off Mumbles Road. Please ask for a parking id slip to display in your vehicle and a card to activate the barrier.

Swansea High Street rail station is 15 minutes by taxi and 22 minutes by the metro bus.

Please ensure you print off and bring your booking confirmation with you as this must be presented by B&B guests when ordering breakfast.
