Save money and stay in empty uni rooms, even if you're not a student.

The shower/bathroom could do with being a bit bigger but other than that I was very comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful and I was able to get fresh towels as needed. I also borrowed an iron, ironing board and hairdryer while I was there. Thank you very much for an enjoyable visit.

Sarum College, Salisbury

Great place to stay in Central Manchester. Clean rooms, good service and comes with a well equipped kitchenette. Will put this on my go to list from now on. Only one downside was that if you want the discounted parking from Q park you have to book ahead, but a minor quirk. Source = Google

Roomzzz Manchester City

Didn't have breakfast but room was very comfortable and warm, looking out on to St Mary's on High Street. Some but not too much traffic noise. Staff very welcoming. Shared bathroom between two bedrooms on staircase 15. Tea/coffee facilities in room.
