Herbert Close is slightly less than 3km from the city centre and next to the Jesus College Sports Ground. There are regular local bus services that travel into the centre of town, as well as out into Oxfordshire's surrounding towns and countryside.
If walking, you can find yourself on the city side of Magdalen Bridge within half an hour. Nearby Cowley Road is a short walk away and is the most cosmopolitan area of the city. It features a wide variety of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes, as well as a large supermarket and a tiny independent cinema. Vibrant and full of character, the area is affectionately known by locals as Cowleyfornia.
It offers self-contained, self-catering flats with 4 bedrooms, and a bathroom/toilet. Also an open plan living/dining room with fully equipped kitchen. Plates, cutlery, crockery and a kettle will be provided. There is also a large garden area to the rear of the flats.
Unfortunately, as the flats were designed to house adult students, consequently, there will be no baby cot or camp bed provided.
