Enjoy staying in Blacksmiths Cottage set in the grounds of The Blacksmiths Arms pub where you will enjoy traditional Yorkshire hospitality. Located just 4 miles from the beautiful City of York you can enjoy the delights of the city with the peace and quiet of a riverside village location.
You will be welcomed at the pub and shown to our cottage which boasts a wood burning stove and a double bedroom set on a mezzanine level, with ultra comfy memory foam mattress on a low bed stead to accommodate the pitched roof. The mezzanine bedroom is above the lounge so you can watch the flickering flames of a cosy fire before drifting off to sleep.
The cosy lounge area leads onto a well appointed kitchen and shower room with shower, toilet and basin.
At Blacksmiths Cottage your welcome basket includes, fresh bread, milk, eggs, fresh coffee, tea and sugar.
The pub serves homemade food all day and you are welcome to have meals delivered to your cottage.
During the colder months if you let us know your time of arrival and we will have the log burner lit ready for your arrival. We also clean your fire and relay it ready for use during your stay!
The beautiful location of Naburn means the cottage would suit couples looking for a romantic break as well as the corporate client looking for a home from home rather than a hotel room.
Both our cottage and pub are dog friendly.
