Chelmsford Place Guest House, York

Chelmsford Place is a central York Bed & Breakfast & can be found at 85 Fulford Road, which is only a 9-10 minutes walk from York's historic city centre either by the pleasant tree lined riverside walk which is only 400 yards away, or by the main road.

We also offer york university accommodation for visiting students or families of students as we are very close to the main campus and we also supply free maps for the whole facility.

We are also highly rated on Trip Advisor. We are only a 4-5 minute walk and can offer B&B for the York Barbican Centre.

Chelmsford Place offers singles, doubles, twins, triples & family rooms, all of which are fully ensuite, apart from two first floor Standard rooms next to each other which share separate toilet-shower facilities just outside the rooms (dressing gowns are provided for these two rooms).

Although we welcome children, we cannot accommodate any children under the age of 5.

We have limited on street car parking which we can offer at a small tariff of £7.50 per day payable by cash at check in, this is available from the time of your arrival until check out on your departure date which is 10am. Please reserve the car parking when making your booking at least 7 days prior to your arrival date.

If you have not confirmed your estimated time of arrival could you please contact the guest house direct as soon as possible to check in with your ETA, thank you. Check in from 12 noon to last check in of 7pm and we are unable to offer a check in after this time.

All rooms have full central heating, hairdryers, LCD freeview television and tea and coffee-making facilities. A complimentary full English/Vegetarian/Vegan/Coeliac or Continental Breakfast is included in the price, and is served in the comfortable ground floor dining room.

We are a small 6 bedroom family run Guest house and do not take night clubbers or large single sex group bookings or Stag or Hen party bookings
