Welcome to Dunmow Guest House. We are conveniently situated near to Stansted Airport in the delightful market town of Great Dunmow (famous for its Flitch trials).
With just a few minutes walk into the town centre, you can enjoy a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. In the pretty surrounding area are the historic market towns of Thaxted and Saffron Walden. There are numerous places of interest including the magnificent house and grounds of Audley End, Freeport designer village or even Colchester Zoo. Enjoy country walks or cycle rides along the Flitch, at Hatfield Forest or Great Notley Country Park.
Whether you are here to visit the area, friends or to attend a wedding at one of the many nearby venues including Maidens Barn, Spains Hall, The Reid Rooms or Down Hall.
Catering for a maximum of only four guests, we believe we can offer that something extra.
Our luxury facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool, games room and private cinema. Sleep soundly in the super king size beds and in the morning enjoy a delicious home cooked breakfast.
Watch television or listen to music in the heated, indoor pool located on the ground floor. A dip before breakfast to sharpen the appetite or wind down after a day out.
Towels, robes and slippers are available - just bring your costumes.
Relax in the cinema room watching some of your favourite films. The custom built theatre boasts electric reclining chairs with motion seats and popcorn supplied!
Have fun in the games room playing bar billiards, darts, dominoes or cards.
Please note that we are not a licensed premises but are very happy to provide glasses and a bottle-opener.
