The Lansdowne is a boutique four star silver rated family run guest house located within 200 metres of the centre of the pretty village of Bourton on the Water, an iconic town in the Cotswolds. The village has an abundance of family activities including the famous Model Village, the perfumery, vintage car museum, model railway, a pottery and Birdland. Just a short drive away you will find Adam Henson’s Farm Park, unique shopping opportunities in Burford and Cheltenham and some wonderful Cotswold eateries.
Alternatively guests may enjoy just sitting quietly on the banks of the River Windrush as it makes its way through the village. Bourton on the Water is also very convenient to Shakespeare’s birthplace at Stratford, Bleinheim Palace and the Roman Baths At Bath.
Our award winning guest house has 14 individually designed rooms including a four poster room, 2 single rooms and a superior Cottage with private garden.
All of our stylishly decorated bedrooms have superb en-suite facilities, free internet access and tea/ coffee making facilities. Superior rooms boast NESPRESSO machines. We serve an award winning English breakfast as well as a selection of pastries, fresh fruit & cereals and muesli.
We have ample free parking.
Check in is between 3 & 6pm and checkout is by 10am. Early and late arrivals MUST be confirmed with us by telephone before a booking is made.
