The Pheasant at Neenton is a stunningly restored dining pub with rooms, serving superb Shropshire food in a real country local on the edge of the Shropshire Hills AONB.

We have 1 newly opened 2 double bedroom apartment along side 3 en-suite bedrooms which relaxing décor and furnished with a touch of style. Each ensuite has a super-king size bed (one can be configured as a twin), and an excellent shower.

We offer a menu of classic English dishes supplemented daily by tempting seasonal specials – with bar snacks and sandwiches too when you want something lighter. We serve real ales and offer a list of wines full of interest, many available by the glass.

Our splendid breakfasts make the Pheasant a perfect base for a break in south Shropshire’s glorious countryside, away from it all, yet just 6 miles from Bridgnorth, 12 from Ludlow and 15 from Ironbridge. The Pheasant is handy for the museums of the Ironbridge Gorge, the historical heart of the Industrial Revolution; the Severn Valley Railway and the many National Trust and English Heritage properties in the area.

We're an inn, not a business hotel, but if you're on business we look to provide a home from home where you can relax, unwind and re-energise for the day ahead. Telford, Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, the Black Country and Birmingham are in easy reach.

And there's a remarkable story behind the Pheasant: closed for 9 years it was semi-derelict until bought, restored, extended and re-opened in 2014 by the local community.
