The Three Horseshoes Warham, Wells-next-the-Sea

The Horseshoes dates back to 1725, its long history evident in the traditional serving hatch (one of few surviving in Norfolk), pamment-tiled floors, scrubbed wooden tables and many authentic features. You can eat and drink in the snug atmosphere of our bar and dining rooms, warm and cosy in the winter and refreshingly cool in the summer. Or you can enjoy the glorious Norfolk outdoors in the sheltered environment of our walled garden, with plenty of space for adults, children and dogs.

Enjoy our simple, unfussy food cooked with the best local produce – pies, puddings and all pub classics are our passion. Try one of our local ales from Woodfordes and Adnams, or if you prefer, wine from our carefully selected menu. We love feeding kids too – explore our children’s menu for some tasty home-cooked and wholesome options. Last but not least, there is a doggy treat menu available at the bar.
Warham is perfectly located at the centre of the heritage coast and is a great base from which to explore North Norfolk. Whether you like long walks on unspoilt beaches, visiting historic statley homes or riding steam trains through stunning scenes of farm and coast, there is always something to do here.

Warham is a special place, an idyllic spot with beautiful views across the valley of the Stiffkey and towards Wighton in the south.
Warham Camp is an Iron Age fort just outside the village. It is the best-preserved hill fort in Norfolk and so of real historical interest, teeming with colour from wildflowers and butterflies in the summer, its still-sharp contours sparkling with frost on bright winter’s days.
Warham is situated in the centre of the stunning North Norfolk coast, tucked away just behind the coast road where you wouldn’t find us if you weren’t looking, a short walk from the salt marshes just east of Wells. We’re right on several well-known walking routes and just off the Peddars Way.
