History to the present day
Avoca House, named after a famous scenic area in county Wicklow, "The Garden of Ireland", is a combination of both old and new architectural styles. Built at the beginning of the 20th century, the house has recently been expanded and modernized throughout, keeping all the original features.
Food and Drinks
A delicious breakfast, served between 8.00 and 10.00am, is included.
One can choose from the Continental menu, offering fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts, smoked salmon and cheese, along with bread, jams and coffee or tea.
The famous cooked 'Irish Breakfast' is available to order. This includes sausages, rashers, eggs, hash browns, beans and white pudding.
A vegetarian cooked breakfast is also available.
Grounds and gardens
A spacious garden patio with table and chairs, is available to guests to relax in and enjoy a beverage.
Wireless internet access, luggage storage facilities and a washing machine/laundry are available to guests. Guests can make use of the sitting room with TV and the garden patio. Avoca offers a personal taxi service and free parking. Avoca has credit card facilities.
