Overview

The Liddell Building, an annexe of Christ Church, offers self-catering accommodation in a quiet location in East Oxford, approximately a five-minute walk from amenities and a fifteen-minute walk from the main site. It's also only just a nine minute walk from O2 Academy Oxford, making this the perfect affordable accommodation option for a night enjoying your favourite band. Comfortable and spacious single standard rooms are available in 3 or 4-bedroom flats with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities (all guests must be over 18).

The college is unable to accept bookings for Stag and Hen groups and can only accommodate adults (aged 18 and over). This includes babies/children sharing a room with adults. If such a booking is made you will be asked to cancel it, the refund amount will be in live with T&Cs or if you arrive at the property you will be refused entry and no refund will be given.

Great stay at the Liddell Building! I was assigned a spacious room overlooking the playing fields, the flat was quiet and clean. I used the kitchen which was kept neat and clean. Romain the warden was welcoming and helpful. The only reason I gave a 4-star to Overall Experience is the noise from the works going on in early September but all the folk working around building 6 and the laundy were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed walking to Christ Church on the "private" path. Very good value !

Internet issues since no instructions provided other than “ use the cloud”. This did not work as required a login resulting in disruption to a planned work meeting. Room otherwise very comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful. It would be great to have an alumni discount option.

It was unclear whether rooms were ever serviced at all. Had to ask for clean towels and bin liners. There was building work right outside the room which wasn’t advised of and no laundry facilities.

Liddell is a great place to stay, clean and modern with everything needed for a comfortable self-catering stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the views from the bedroom were peaceful.

Anon

Excessive noise at night. Door banging at 01.06 in the morning. Windows closing and opening. No disability facilities

Anon

Very handy and inexpensive place to stay. No frills but great for a one night stop over

AndyH

Great location, clean, basic but just what I needed.

SimonaT
