Iris Florentina is a private student residence located on the second floor of a 19th-century palace, overlooking Piazza della Repubblica - a central and lively square, full of cafés, shops, stalls and street artists. it is very close to the main Cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore (Duomo), Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio.
The Residence is part of the Italian language school (CLIC, Sprachcaffe). During the day it is possible to use the common areas of the school, and for those interested in studying Italian, there is the opportunity to attend one the courses as well. The schools have students from all over the world, some of them also living in the apartment, creating an interesting multicultural atmosphere.The apartment is composed of 9 rooms - 8 twins and one single. Each room is equipped with a large desk and wardrobe; the windows overlooking the inner courtyard. Some rooms have air conditioning while other rooms have a fan.The 2 bathrooms (one for ladies, one for men) and the kitchen are shared.
IMPORTANT NOTE: a student can't book a twin room unless he/she brings another person with whom he/she can share the room with.
