History

The college was built in 1963 by the architect Brunetta, following the most advanced architectural standards of the time and still maintains a high degree of functionality. It’s named after the Bishop Padovano S. Gregory Barbarigo, who in the eighteenth century was a pioneer in the field of intellectual, moral and religious youth.

Food & beverage

Breakfast is included in the price and is served from Monday to Friday.

The canteen allows guests to take advantage of full board: lunch and / or dinner are available for a supplement of 10€ per meal, Monday to Friday. The meals are served at 1.00pm for lunch and 7.45pm for dinner (Friday dinner is 7.30pm).

The college has an indoor bar run by students and open for about 30 minutes after the main meals.

Grounds & Gardens

Iris Park and jogging trail (illuminated at night) runs from the "Giardino dei Giusti del Mondo" along the "Terranegra" bank of the Voltabarozzo canal.

Other facilities

Free Wi-Fi access, bed linen and towels are changed weekly.

There are common rooms for lectures and group study, computer room, design studio, living room with bar and TV, including lecture hall for conferences, spaces to make music together and a digital piano. Furthermore there is a library, with reference books about scientific and literary culture, and newspaper library with Italian and foreign magazines and newspapers.
Also available for use are tennis courts, multi-purpose court for basketball, volleyball, soccer with flood lighting, gym with weights room and ping-pong.
