History

The building that now houses the Tagaste El Carmelo Residence Hall was originally used as a religious college and was associated for many years with the Discalced Carmelite nuns. Over time, the space was adapted to new needs, eventually becoming a university residence hall, while maintaining its peaceful and functional character. This evolution is part of the building's recent history and its integration into the life of the city.

In the vicinity of the Residence are two small nearby parks that are part of the daily life of the neighborhood and offer an open environment for walking or sitting outdoors.

Other facilities

Tagaste Residence is just a 10-minute walk from the bus station. It is also easily accessible by taxi. To reach the residence from the train station, you can take bus line 11, which stops directly in front of the station and is just a few meters away. Furthermore, there is free parking all around the residence.
