The University of Chester is conveniently located a short walk away from the city centre. Astbury House is located at the heart of the main campus and is one of the largest halls of residence. Each of the 85 rooms is equipped with ensuite facilities and guests have access to a large communal area.

By Car: Chester is linked directly to the national motorway system via the M53.

The main campus is situated at the junction of Cheyney Road and Parkgate Road (A540), which is a continuation of Northgate Street leading out from the city centre. Access to the main car park is by the Exton Park entrance.

The postal code is CH1 4BJ for sat nav users.

By Rail: The University is twenty minutes' walk from Chester Railway Station, and a taxi will cost approximately £3.50. A free bus service runs at regular intervals between the Railway Station and Chester City Centre. The Campus is only ten minutes' walk from the city centre.
