Talavera la Real is the nearest airport and is located in Badajoz. Most people will need to arrive in Madrid and then get a connecting flight to Talavera de la Real. Once there, you will need to get a taxi, since there are no buses connecting the airport to Mérida.

A little further away, but perhaps a little more economical and with better links to Mérida, is the airport of Seville, which is around an hour and a half away by bus.

Having arrived in Mérida, you can move about freely using the public buses: the nearest bus stop to the residence is located at the end of our street.
