Overview

Eastbourne Beach
Eastbourne beach is a mere 10 minutes’ walk away. Eastbourne offers more than 3 miles of vast shingle beaches offering sand, and in some cases rock pooling opportunities, at low tide. It also boasts of an “Excellent” water quality rating by the Good Beach Guide.
To the other side of the beach are the white chalk cliffs which lead to the sheer 530ft of Beachy Head. The dramatic 530 feet high cliffs of Beachy Head give stunning views over Eastbourne and the English Channel. Walk from the foot of Beachy Head or climb to the top for dramatic views of the famous red and white-striped lighthouse.

The Beacon
For shopping there is the Eastbourne shopping centre the Beacon, with over 70 retailers with something for everyone. From high street names to local independents, you’ll find your favourite jewellery stores, homeware and fashion brands all under one roof. If your looking for a place to eat while you shop the Beacon cater from healthy breakfast, to sweet treats to the best burgers in town.

Eastbourne pier
One of the finest examples of a Victorian pier, Eastbourne's stunning seafront landmark is fully open for business with a brand-new walkway since the fire of 2014. Eastbourne Pier has a variety of shops, a chippy, Waterfront cafe/bar, Atlantis nightclub, Victorian Tea Rooms, Coffee Republic, fishing and fantastic views of the English Channel.

Towner Eastbourne
For a visit to a gallery look no further than the Towner Eastbourne. he building, which opened in April 2009, is the largest purpose-built gallery in the South East. Collecting and exhibiting contemporary art for nearly 100 years.

Congress Theatre
The Congress Theatre in Carlisle Road is a purpose-built theatre and conference venue with a seating capacity of 1647. The largest theatre on the South Coast, the Congress attracts the biggest and best West End shows, all the top touring shows and star names. Nothing beats the thrill of live entertainment!
