Historia

Commonwealth Hall is part of the Garden Halls and was opened in the 1960s with a generous aid from the Wolfson Foundation. It is named after Samuel Commonwealth, a UCL architecture student, who designed the building.

Breakfast is included in the room rate and consists of a variety of options, including the traditional full English, 7 days per week.

Breakfast times are: Mon - Fri 08.00 -09.00, Sat & Sun 08.30-09.30

Cartwright Gardens is directly opposite Commonwealth Hall and tennis courts can be booked at Hughes Parry Hall which is in the same street. The Gardens are open 7 days per week from dawn to dusk and you can get the access code for the gate from Reception. Russell Square public park is a 5 minute walk from Commonwealth Hall.

Squash courts are available in the building and can be hired by the hour. Rackets and balls are available at Reception where you can also book the court.
