Historia

Canterbury Hall is part of the Garden Halls and was built in 1938 by the Church of England. It was acquired by University of London in 1946 and provides accommodation for 229 female and male students since then.
Canterbury Hall overlooks the greenery of the Gardens owned by the University on the graceful curve of a crescent of characteristic late 18th century Bloomsbury houses.

Breakfast is included in the room rate and consists of a variety of options, including the traditional full English, 7 days per week.

Breakfast times are: Mon - Fri 08.00 -09.00, Sat & Sun 08.30-09.30

There is a small open-air shopping mall at the end of the street with fashion shops, supermarket, several restaurants, coffee shops and a fabulous patisserie.

Cartwright Gardens is directly opposite Canterbury Hall and tennis courts can be booked at Hughes Parry Hall which is in the same street. The Gardens are open 7 days per week from dawn to dusk and you can get the access code for the gate from Reception. Russell Square public park is a 5 minute walk from Canterbury Hall.

You can also book the tennis courts opposite the hall at the Reception of Hughes Parry Hall which is on the same street, right next door to Canterbury Hall.
