Being a smaller Folkestone hotel, we have no dedicated reception and guests are asked to book in at the bar where our staff will guide you to your room taking note of any special requirements.
There is some free parking in the vicinity but this is not guaranteed however we can provide vouchers at £4 (24 hours) which allows use of the metered parking spaces immediately outside of the hotel. There is also an underground local authority car park next door which is covered by cctv and is secured at night. We also have a limited number of private parking spaces available immediately outside the hotel at a cost of £6 - please book in advance.
The large sun terrace of the Skuba Bar has the benefit of motorised awnings, side screens and heat lamps allowing us to accommodate our customers in comfort whatever the weather.
The Budget rooms are the smaller "value" rooms which are located on the 3rd floor. Please note that we do not have a lift. The rooms themselves are well appointed and comfortable. On arrival, you will need please, to check-in at the bar and as you will have seen from the reviews, some guests have not been comfortable with this arrangement however as a smaller hotel, we are unable to provide a dedicated reception. Our staff know to make the process as swift as possible and to get you to your room quickly, answering any queries or requests that you might have.
We are a pet friendly hotel but please note that there is a £10 pet charge. This is per room for a stay of up to seven days, not per pet or per day. All rooms are non-smoking.
