Imperial College London, founded in 1907, is the UK's leading science, technology and medicine university. With locations in and around London, its main campus is in South Kensington, London's cultural heartland.

With such a central location and with world famous London attractions such as the Natural History, Science and V&A Museums and Harrods on its doorstep, Imperial makes for the ideal place to stay whether you're visiting London for business or leisure.

Located on Prince Consort Road, next door to the Royal Albert Hall and moments away from Hyde Park, Beit Hall is one of Imperial's oldest and most historic buildings. This Grade II listed building retains its historic ambience.

Beit Hall offers 258 ensuite and standard bedrooms with shared bathroom facilities. Many of the rooms have views over Beit's Quadrangle or the Royal Albert Hall.

Cibo & bevande

A full English breakfast is included in the price of the room and is served in the Senior Common Room. Snacks and light meals are available on campus throughout the day, and also at the Student Union Bar.

Eastside Restaurant and Bar

The Eastside is a contemporary bar and eatery which offers great value food and drink whilst providing the perfect place to socialise with friends and colleagues. Conveniently located on the ground floor of the Eastside Halls of Residence, this venue is convenient for any guests staying in Beit Hall.

Eastside is open daily from 12.00 to 23.00 Monday to Saturday and from 12.00 to 22.00 on Sundays. It serves a delicious range of 'gastro-pub' style dishes perfect for lunch or dinner as well as a superb range of ales and wines as well as teas and coffees.

Ethos Cafe

The Ethos cafe is located on the ground floor of Ethos, Imperial's flagship sports centre, also on Prince's Gardens. Serving a range of hot and cold drinks including barista-style coffee and fresh juice and smoothies, baguettes, sandwiches, paninis, salads and lots more, the Ethos cafe is ideal sport for a quick bite to eat or drink after a swim or gym session or simply just to relax.

Terreni & Giardini

Guests staying in Beit Hall have use of the historic Beit Quadrangle, around which the accommodation is arranged. Many of the rooms in Beit Hall enjoy a view of the Quad which is a lovely outside space with a lawned area and outdoor seating - the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening drink.

Guests can also enjoy use of the leafy Prince's Gardens, just across Exhibition Road. As London's only privately-owned public square, the Gardens offer a beautiful green tranquil space in the heart of central London.

For those who want to venture out of the College grounds, Hyde Park is only a very short walk away.

Ethos Sports Centre, located on the north side of Prince's Gardens is Imperial's flagship sports centre. Arranged over four floors, this superb centre boasts the following facilities:

25m swimming pool complete with sauna, steam room and spa, fitness gym, exercise studio for classes, sports hall for badminton, table tennis, basketball and 5-a-side football, climbing wall, three squash courts, treatments.

Guests staying in Imperial halls are entitled to use the facilities for a small fee per activity. Booking is not required but please bring own sportswear.

Speedy check in. Room clean. Shower hot. Bed comfortable. Great to have access to swimming pool. Can leave luggage. Staff generally efficient. Pity can't drink water from tap in bathroom and have to keep topping up from the fountain downstairs. Some noise from Union bar til late but quiet after...

The location is excellent and process much quieter than the other Halls nearby. The room was perfect for what we needed, although it was very warm in the building and through the night. Can recommend this as a great base in central London.

Really good value for money! Room was in good state an clean. Best location, right next to Royal Albert Hall. Toilets and shower s (shared) could be cleaner though... overall good experience. Would repeat.

I attended a concert performance at the Proms and was happy about the conveniently located room which was basic, but reasonably clean and quiet. Staff were very friendly.

It was a little confusing finding reception due to ongoing renovations, but once checked in it was excellent. Very comfy, staff helpful and accomodating.

Nearest Underground Station: South Kensington Station

Directions: At South Kensington station, turn right into the subway sign-posted for the museums and continue for approx. 5 minutes until you reach the very end of the subway. At the exit, turn left up Exhibition Road and walk for approx. 3 minutes towards Hyde Park. At the corner of Exhibition Road and Prince Consort Road turn left. Walk for approximately 2 minutes until you have passed the steps of the Royal Albert Hall. Beit Hall is the large, red, rectangular building directly next to the steps and the front entrance is located half way along the front of the building.
