Overview

Located in 300 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds overlooking the historic city of Canterbury and its famous cathedral, Keynes College offers 4-star VisitEngland campus graded single ensuite accommodation and catering facilities.

Bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi access. Laundry facilities are also available within the College.

Full English or Continental Breakfast is served Monday to Friday in Dolche Vita restaurant, Keynes College, 0745 - 0930 hrs. On a Saturday and Sunday, breakfast is served in Rutherford Dining Hall, Rutherford College, 0830 - 1400 hs. Rutherford College is a 6-8 minute walk from Keynes College.

Free parking is available close to Keynes College and a parking permit will be provided on check-in. There is also a regular bus service to and from Canterbury. The seaside town of Whitstable is also a short bus ride away from the campus.

Daily housekeeping service Monday to Friday. Additional towels, linen and coffee/tea are available from Keynes Reception prior to 1pm on a Saturday and Sunday.

Please note that bedrooms are located on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor and do not have lift access.

Check in: 12:00 (12:00pm) - 19:30 (7:30pm) (arrivals may be allowed outside this window if your travel plans can't be adjusted however this is subject to availability)

Thank you for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The facilities were good , the staff helpful and the room very comfortable.It felt a very safe and nonthreatening atmosphere for a lone woman traveller.The university was a good base for exploring the Kent coast and countryside and public transport facilities from the campus were excellent.

I was most impressed with the clean accommodation, housekeeping service and the high quality of the breakfast. Reception staff were professional and friendly. I have recommended Keynes college and the Turin accommodation to my friends and I would like to visit again.

A very comfortable room with new fittings and generous toiletries, though 'wet room' a little too wet! Plentiful breakfast with a fine view of Canterbury. Pleasant, medium length walk into the city. Weather, hottest day of July, helped.

Please note that Reception is open 08:00 - 20:00 hrs Monday to Friday and 08:00 - 13:00 hrs Saturday and Sunday. Any guests arriving outside of these times can contact security by using the silver call point located outside the main entrance doors to Keynes College. A member of staff will then come to reception and issue you with your keys. There may be occasions when reception hours vary, please check online.
