Excellent and safe location with transport links nearby. The breakfast was an unexpected pleasure and much appreciated. Outdoor garden area was lovely. Reception desk staff were pleasant and helpful - as a female travelling alone it was good to have a point of contact. The kitchen facilities were a bonus. My only criticism is that the decor was a bit shabby - torn curtain, chipped paintwork, broken shower cubicle doors, worn carpets. The building is lovely but the inside needs repairs and revamp.

Several months ago, I did ask for an upper room with a tree view, but it's not a good idea to assign any upper room in the back building--Ensleigh?--to someone over 60, as it has no lift (and it was about 90 degrees in London that week). I do appreciate Reception's last-minute efforts to find me a room in Passfield Hall itself. The rooms are pretty shabby these days, but the location, the breakfast, and the terrace are still great, and overall P.H. is a remarkable bargain.

For £55 in London - it's a great find! Room is simple and clean with a wash basin, towels and toiletries. The breakfast delicious & plenty. You can eat it in the courtyard garden - which is very beautiful. Area is central, safe and afluent. Wonderful place.

Very good value. Kitchen coped well with large numbers wanting breakfast at 8.00AM. Screws for the towel holder in room 2018 need tightening. I was in a bit of a hurry leaving, so did not tell reception yesterday. Sorry

Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great but too late at 8am. Most tourists would like to be out and about by that time. Bathrooms weren’t great.

Room was very clean and comfortable and overall the experience was very good. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.
