Homerton College, Cambridge

I hugely enjoyed my stay at Homerton; it was a great experience; I would stay here more often but it is overpriced. The location of the porters' lodge is not signed when approaching from the car park; I was lucky to find a groundsman to help. There was confusion re the location of breakfast; some written info would be good. Apart from these minor points it was an excellent stay, thank you. The porters get full marks for helpfulness.

Thank you for a lovely stay. We arrived late and had to leave the room by nine am so it wasn’t a long visit; but the college gardens are pastoral and relaxing, the en-suite room very nice, and the new dining hall complex was airy and beneficent. We enjoyed the mod-cons within the traditional setting. Thank you to the porters for their friendly greetings and for guarding our bags for a few hours. It’s a shame you don’t have space next week!

For £70 odd, in Cambridge. You get what you get. Room was clean and functional. Fine by me as it was just to sleep. Other Cambs rooms start from over £150 for the same basics. Breakfast was included and it was a good breakfast - better than a lodge or prem Inn, and you are in beautiful surroundings with no screaming/moaning/shouting kids. Yes, I'd re-use.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. Our contact, Lili, and every person we engaged with, could not have been more helpful, the accommodation and location were superb. We celebrated my husband’s 80th birthday with friends on campus and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Many thanks to Homerton.

I loved every second of my stay at Homerton. The only down side was not having a hairdryer or any hand soap in the room but I do appreciate that it is a student room and not a hotel. The lady on the tills in the dining hall was very friendly.

Would have welcomed beside lamp and slip mat for the shower. The room was spotless. The porter’s were really helpful There was a lack of signage - only the finger post at the bottom of the stairs.

Everyone I met there,without exception,was so helpful and pleasant. They went out of their way.
