Situated in the beautiful grounds in Parkville, St Mary's College, University of Melbourne, is located just north of Melbourne's city centre and is a short walk to the cosmopolitan district of Carlton and Lygon Street. This Catholic college is within close walking distance to the University of Melbourne with a tram stop located right on the doorstep, offering the perfect place to stay. 150 rooms are available within the College in June-July and from December-February, ideal for the visiting scholar or if you are travelling to Melbourne on business and don't require all the frills of a larger hotel.
All of the residential accommodation is within four, secure wings forming a peaceful courtyard in the centre. Security tags are distributed to all guests to allow easy access to the College. Staff are on duty to handle after hours emergencies.
The bedrooms are modern, fresh and light-filled, offering a quiet and comfortable stay. All are equipped with a hand basin, single bed, study desk and wardrobe. Internet access and private telephone facilities are also available, upon request. Bedrooms are conveniently located to ample shared unisex bathroom facilities. All are non-smoking.
All bedding, including sheets and towels, is supplied and fresh linen is provided every 5 days for longer stays.
