My son and I stayed at Somerville for two nights to attend the Oxford Open Day. The whole experience was excellent. Somerville is beautiful, the accommodation great, the breakfast wonderful, and the highlight was the brilliantly friendly and helpful Somerville staff. Would definitely recommend. No complaints at all. Comfortable room in a perfect location for my stay at a great price for London. Room was spotlessly clean as was kitchen. Use of kitchen was so helpful for a week long stay. Whole place v secure too. Friendly, helpful staff when I arrived. Will definitely book again. Goldsmid House, Victoria, London

The room was rather hot and the window (although large) has restricted opening only at the bottom. So it was very difficult to get much ventilation into the room. Otherwise my stay was very pleasant and in a great central location. Arthur Tattersalls House, Fitzrovia, London

Everything was above excellent - fantastic value for money! Spacious and well equipped apartment, comfortably fit 2 adults and 2 small children. Delicious and abundant breakfast. Would definitely stay again! Jesus College, Cambridge

Lovely central location with beautiful gardens. Bed was on a slope due to uneven floor so would be better if it was propped up at head of bed. Excellent breakfast. Wadham College, Oxford
