An all-round good experience. The whole building and rooms seemed to have been excellently refurbished - we stayed in this building many years ago previously. The only difference and snag this time were the very strict parking limitations nearby - nothing to do with Destiny Student. Destiny Student - Shrubhill, Edinburgh

All good, the place seemed well run and the room was basic but very clean and comfortable. Slightly on the warm side but it was quite warm weather and I was able to leave the window open as it was three floors up. It was a good value place to stay, thank you to all the staff. Excellent value for money, glad not to be put down in the basement, ground floor ok, levels above seem to be better. Ensuite rooms weren't on offer on website this time but shared bathroom facilities were fine. John Adams Hall, Bloomsbury, London

Lovely setting, fine room, excellent breakfast. Up rather a lot of steps but the web site is entirely up-front about that and it does make for a view. Christ Church, Oxford
