Always great value for money. My room was clean and overlooked a beautiful garden. Shower and toilet facilities were immaculate, and staff were kind and responsive to requests. Happily breakfast was being served in the chapel, and made for a lovely Hogwarts like experience. Mansfield College, Oxford

Spacious room with double bed and en-suite that was clean. Kitchen had very little cutlery and crockery and no washing up liquid… no lose star for that. TV in common room not working so disappointed in that. Staff helpful so overall we were very happy with our stay. John Adams Hall, Bloomsbury, London

We used to be students so had some idea what to expect. Room was better than expected but too hot so had to turn down the radiators and open the windows! The shower room was rather tired with a hole in part of the flooring but quite useable. We hope to be back! Wycliffe Hall, Oxford
