Nestling in its own grounds on the hillside, looking South over the town, the Coquet Valley and Simonside Hills, The Haven is a splendid Edwardian detached stone-built house, approximately two minutes walk from the centre of Rothbury. Our family run private hotel offers very comfortable accommodation, fresh home cooked meals and a friendly tranquil setting for business and pleasure.
We now have 24 hens wandering around the grounds and of course, providing us with scrumptious fresh eggs for your breakfast. All rooms are generously sized and fitted to a high standard. Each room has en-suite bathroom, colour TV with remote control, hair dryer, clock radio and tea/coffee making facilities.
A comfortable lounge is available to guests at all times; guests are free to enjoy the terraced gardens overlooking the village. Evening meals are available most of the time (pre-booked). New hearty supper menu with handmade chocolates. Packed lunches, afternoon tea or fresh/toasted sandwiches are available on request.
