The Old Red Lion is a traditional Inn situated on the outskirts of Cambridgeshire with easy access to near Newmarket, Saffron Walden, Duxford & Bury St. Edmunds.
The original Inn dates back to its 18th century days and was originally an old farm house and now has a comfortable bar area and a 55 seat restaurant. The lodges offer twelve comfortable en-suite letting rooms in a charming setting, set aside from the main building.
Our location means we are fortunate that the Thurlow - Point to Point Race Course is located just over the road from us.
The villagers take their dogs over to all of the meets and the annual country fair enjoying a wonderful day out, making it a fun filled day for all the family. Our location enables easy transport links to many local attractions including; Chilford Hall, Duxford Imperial War Museum, The Fitzwilliam museum and Audley End House.

Our bar is stocked with a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. All of our bitters and guest ales are cask marque accredited.
The bar area provides an area where people can relax and unwind in a cosy space by the log burner.
Dining in our 55 seat restaurant, you can select a bottle of wine from our large wine menu or choose from our selection of cask beers & lagers. Our restaurant menu changes regularly with Head Chef using only the best & local seasonal ingredients available.
Our accommodation lodges provide a calm space to unwind from a busy day exploring Cambridge and the surrounding areas.
Each room has its own en-suite bathroom with either a bath or a shower and having large Freeview TVs with free fibre optic Wifi access, tea & coffee making facilities including still & sparkling water.
