Family run by a second-generation guest house owner with over 45 years’ experience in the local area. The Coach House is situated in the center of the village within easy reach of the local amenities including pubs, restaurants, cafes, shops, tourist information office, ice cream parlor, and spectacular walks. There are views from the first floor rooms towards the Aberglaslyn pass and even the famous Gelert's grave. All rooms are En-Suite with TVs, complimentary wi-fi, and a mini-fridge. Beddgelert is an ancient village and has won many awards for being well kept and has a charming collection of traditional stone-built properties. At the center of the village is the stone-built bridge linking the two sides of the village together. The river Colwyn meets with the river Gwynant to become the river Glaslyn that flows through the spectacular Aberglaslyn pass. The welsh highland steam railway passes through Beddgelert en route from Caernarfon to Porthmadog and the station is situated just behind the main public car park. ***Please note there is no parking available at the property however there are two large car parks within easy walking distance and free street parking within the village.***
Mountain bike rental is also situated close to the station. There are so many hiking paths from the village there really is something for everyone whether its a leisurely stroll down the riverside path or to the summit of Snowdon. The coast is approximately 8 miles and the sandy beaches of Black rock sands. For those looking for some serious Adrenalin fun, Zip World or Surf Snowdinia is not too far.
