Cruachan bed and breakfast was established in 1996 by its owners Jacqueline and Kenneth Harkins.It offers warm, comfortable, and high quality accommodation. Cruachan bed and breakfast has 4 guest bedrooms, two double bedrooms with en suite facilities, a large twin bedroom with one double bed and one single bed also with en suite, as well as a double room with a separate, but private, bathroom.
All rooms in Cruachan have colour televisions, very generously stocked hospitality trays, tea and coffee making facilities and the bathrooms are very well stocked with all the toiletries you may need during your stay.
Cruachan also provides you with a hearty Scottish breakfast to start your day, with bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms, black pudding and perhaps a slice of haggis! If you prefer a lighter start, you can also choose from fresh fruit and a wide range of cereals and yoghurts.
Cruachan is located between Edinburgh and Glasgow with both cities being easily reached by car in half an hour. There is also an excellent park and ride bus service located at Edinburgh airport, itself only a 15 minute drive from Cruachan.
A regular rail service runs from nearby Bathgate to Edinburgh, and Glasgow.
Rooms are priced from £55.00 per night for a single occupancy of a double room and from £75.00 per night for 2 people sharing a double or twin room.
These prices are MINIMUM rates and are subject to seasonal changes.
