Overview

Glebe House is set on a hillside, overlooking the lovely Coly Valley, just inland from the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. With stunning views and an idyllic rural situation, Glebe House offers comfortable and relaxing Bed and Breakfast accommodation.

This secret part of East Devon, close to the Dorset and Somerset Borders, with its open valleys and unspoilt villages and towns, is a lovely place to explore and unwind. The fossil-laden cliffs of Lyme Regis and Charmouth are close by as are the famous old fishing villages of Beer and Branscombe and the lace town of Honiton. Colyton, with the last traditional tannery in England is just down the valley and the Regency town of Sidmouth is to the west. The city of Exeter with its beautiful cathedral is only thirty minutes away.

Single occupancy rates are available, please see Available Rooms for the promotion codes.

Take 2nd left to Farway Countryside Park and Southleigh. Glebe House is opposite a large farm on your right called Scruel Barton. Take the lane going up a hill over a cattle grid and through fields and then bear left over another cattle grid and look for the white house and conservatory entrance.

From South/West. From A3052 coast road Sidmouth/Lyme Regis (approx 2 miles).

Take the turning to Southleigh (which is a lane). It is almost opposite the turning to Beer at Hangmans Stone, which is the B3174. Down through forestry and over the dried out ford. Keep on this lane avoiding left turn to Blackbury Camp. Drive into the village, past the post box, telephone box and notice board on your left.
