Scotland's 2nd largest malt whisky distillery is within walking distance of the Lodge and the village shop is only a short drive away. Many places of historical interest are also close by including Culloden Battlefield, Cawdor Castle and, of course, Loch Ness, Skye and John O' Groats can also make a great day out as can Balmoral, the Queen's Summer residence.
Tomatin is midway between the skiing centre of Aviemore and the City of Inverness, capital of Highlands. An ideal base for exploring this most beautiful part of the UK. There is also our guesthouse residents lounge - the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the local area of Tomatin and Inverness. The guesthouse dining room is where you will be treated to a continental breakfast and also an evening meal if you wish. There is also storage available for cycles.
