The front part of the Inn is circa 17th century or earlier timber framed with red brick cladding added circa early 19th century. So you can enjoy our traditional large ingle nook fire place with log burner on the cooler nights and oak beams throughout. We also have a conservatory overlooking the rear garden area, which has established shrubs, grass and large children's play frame .Large gravelled carpark
The local 100th Bomber squadron memorial museum only 10 minutes’ drive has historical connections with the Inn, as former service persons often frequented. The history of the bomber group is soon to be made into a 9 hour Mini-series called “Masters of the air” Produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, Directed by Cary Fukunaga. Watch our website and socials for updates and organised tours via a third party.
We currently hold a 5 Food Star Local Environmental Health award for the high standards in our food production areas.
