The Trusty Servant Inn is in the center of the quintessential country village overlooking the green, with its own stocks and memorial. This Country Pub with great freshly prepared, home cooked food, local real ales and very large garden, welcomes walkers, cyclists, children, dogs and coach parties. The team will always give you a warm welcome and advice on what to do and see locally.
As the ponies, donkeys, cows and pigs amble through the village of Minstead it is easy to see why it is one of the visited and least spoilt village in the heart of The New Forest. It is surrounded by forest, with thatched cottages and many high banked lanes but just off the A31, but a special place that is completely isolated from the outside world. The 13th century church with its own fireplace, luxury pew also is home to the grave of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s grave nestled under a large oak tree in the graveyard.
