Room was warm - nicely so. Really clean room and bathroom. Only quirk is how noisy the doors are - not just with slamming, but hinges are really noise as well and would benefit from some WD40. Overall, I have really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to others. Alcuin College, University of York

The rooms at Collingwood College are really convenient as a base for exploring Durham and the surrounding area. If you're looking for a comfortable, come-and-go base, which won't cost you too much cash, then these rooms are ideal. Would definitely use them again. Collingwood College, Durham

We were satisfied with our stay. The room was adequate and the security staff very helpful. Our only criticism was the level of noise late evening and during the night from other guests and from the seagulls early in the morning ! Plas Gwyn Halls, Cardiff

I enjoyed it. The washing machine was excellent and being able to self cater is money saving, Position was good close to all transport and many supermarkets. Dawes House, Fulham, London (Students Only)
