John Adams Hall, Bloomsbury, London

Basic, value for money accommodation in an excellent central London location. Really good for my requirements. However, bedrooms are very basis. Polyester and nylon bedding. No coat hangers. No toiletries. No in-room tea and coffee-making facilities. There is a communal kitchen. Which also minimal equipment provided. e.g. no washing up liquid! It was also very hot during my stay and no air cons or fans. Windows only partially open for students safety. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I very much enjoyed my stay at John Adams Hall. As a student I used to leave there and it brought up a lot of nice memories. The room I was very small but bright and had everything I needed. Ensuite facilites were great, spacious with a good shower. The room was clean and fresh. Τhe kitchen was well equipped. There were some brand new cutlery that I could use to prepare meals. The people in the reception were polite and helpful. Location is perfect and safe.

Comfortable stay but very basic. Some more toiletries in the bathroom would be nice, and prior communication about bringing own tea/coffee/milk/sugar to be used in the communal kitchen. It would have been nice to have been told that the doors don't lock themselves like other key card systems. In addition the WiFi was very patchy and slow.

Spacious room with double bed and en-suite that was clean. Kitchen had very little cutlery and crockery and no washing up liquid… no lose star for that. TV in common room not working so disappointed in that. Staff helpful so overall we were very happy with our stay.

The accommodation is in a quiet part of Bloomsbury but is close to Euston and within walking distance of King's Cross and St Pancras. The room was comfortable and quiet and staff were very helpful. John Adams Hall was ideal for my three night stay.

Why complain? It was a cheap single room with en suite in Central London. It was basic yet comfortable. I slept very well, which by my standards, is the hallmark of good accommodation.

Good value in Central London for a cheap weekend away. Close to tube and able to walk to theatres and bars of Soho and Fitzrovia.

The only thing missing was a hair dryer: I didn’t pack one because of limited space but one in the room would’ve been handy!
