The Hotel Kastanienhof is a friendly place to stay in the heart of Berlin-Mitte, a pulsating part of the city between the famous Alexander Square and the Prenzlauer Berg.

As a result of the original floor plan, the rooms are all individually shaped and spacious, you have got a great view overlooking the city from the rooms in the attic. The rooms with a view of the green inner courtyard and the garden house will make you forget, that you are in the middle of Germany’s capital city.
Since January 1, 2014 guests have to pay the so-called city-tax upon arrival. The city-tax is imposed by the city of Berlin in the amount of 5% on the room rate. The city-tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid in cash at the hotel.
