B&B at Witney House, Witney

Witney House is a luxurious B&B within an elegantly refurbished Grade II listed Georgian town house dating from the early 18th Century, with private off street parking and three beautiful en-suite rooms. We have a guest lounge area and a breakfast room with an original open fire place, and cosy leather chairs. We also have a beautiful terraced south facing walled garden extending to a third of an acre that guests may enjoy during their stay.
The whole house has been renovated, retaining original sash windows and shutters, stone flag entrance floor and sweeping staircase to the first floor, and with stone mullioned windows to the Arts and Crafts inspired sections. Each room has free high speed WiFi, LED smart TV, and Bluetooth radio, luxury mains pressure rain showers and our junior suite bathroom also has a free standing roll top bath. Each room has a luxurious king or super king bed with White Company bed linens and towels, bath robes and indulgent 100 Acres bath and body products.
Witney is a thriving market town and a perfect location from which to explore the Cotswolds, Blenheim Palace 8.5 miles, Oxford 11 miles, Burford 7.5 miles, Bicester Village 19 miles.
We are located just on the edge of town within a short walk of a fabulous range of restaurants, pubs, shops and a cinema. There are also beautiful walks along the River Windrush to Minster Lovell, and a friendly Cotswold pub located just two doors from us.
Edward Early a member of the Witney Blanket dynasty lived in the property in 1825. West End is often described as "one of the most preserved streets in England" and many of the buildings were associated with the historically important blanket weaving industry.
Witney House would make a perfect pre wedding venue or bridal suite but whatever your reason for staying with us we will endeavour to make your stay as memorable and comfortable as possible.
