The College crest incorporates the Selwyn family arms and those of the Diocese of Lichfield. Selwyn was one of the first colleges to become mixed, admitting women in 1976.

All of the staff were great. Thanks.
Ms Sue L

The booking site was easy to use and the queries team provided prompt responses to my question.
Mr James W

Thank you for the use of your student room. It was clean and warm and comfortable. The rule about vacating the premises by 930 am is not very convenient. The system for dialling taxis from the Porter's Lodge works very well, and they came very quickly.
Mrs Helen B

Clean room, very supportive people
Mr Masaaki K

Spacious rooms - good facilities.
Ms Verena S

Very satisfactory
Mr Chris B

The night porter was very helpful and affable. Given our arrival from Luton was not until 2:00am, at Selwyn College, we received a very warm welcome and all the help we required as well as a good night's sleep. A very positive experience over all and a beautiful setting.
Mrs Annette J

Clean room, good selection at breakfast and fantastic shower.
Mr Benjamin F

Can recommend this accommodation very highly

Directions:

By Car: The easiest way to approach the College by road from the north, south or east is from Junction 12 of the M11. Take the A603 (Barton Road) towards Cambridge. Pass Wolfson College on the left. About 1.5 miles from the M11 you will reach the traffic lights of a pedestrian crossing. Turn left into Grange Road directly after this pedestrian crossing opposite the Hat and Feathers public house. Continue down Grange Road and go straight over the T junction with Sidgwick Avenue and Selwyn College is immediately on the right hand side. Parking is not permitted on the Fellows' car park in front of the Porters' Lodge.

Unfortunately, we do not offer on-site parking. Free car parking is available on some of the roads surrounding the College.

By Train: Taxi are available for hire from outside Cambridge railway station and the fare should cost under £10 from the station to the College. Regular buses run from the railway station to the city centre.

By Bus: Take a Citi 4 or Uni 4 bus from Emmanuel Street stop 4 destined for "Madingley" or "Cambourne" to reach West Road and Grange Road with stops close to the College.

By Air: You can travel to Cambridge by rail, coach or taxi. Stansted is the closest major airport about 40 minutes away.
