Of course the accomodation is basic, with shared utilities, but it was in a great location and was extremely good value for money, as an excellent breakfast was included in the price. Beats staying at a Travelodge - I would definitely book the university accomodation again.

We had a great one night stopover at Hatfield College, Durham. From the first contact with the porter to the lovely, welcoming dining team everyone was so friendly and helpful. We will stay again without a doubt. Beautiful location and grand people. Wendy

Staying in college was both incredibly charming and provides a very convenient, central base from which to visit the City of Durham. Being alumni of the college, it was also steeped in splendid memories.
