Overview

Salisbury Green Hotel and Bistro:

Located in peaceful landscaped grounds adjoining Holyrood Park and within easy walking distance of Edinburgh’s Old Town and the City’s major attractions, Salisbury Green Hotel and Bistro offers 108 superbly appointed rooms, 36 in its 18th Century Mansion House, and 72 recently refurbished rooms in its Masson House right next door.

The Mansion House traditional rooms are all unique in size and style and the House is full of period features from the 18th Century. Masson rooms are spacious and modern, and all have top of the range Elite mattresses and new fitted bathrooms with drencher showers. All of our rooms have large TV’s with a wide choice of Freeview channels, free WiFi, and a desk to work at if required, and a great selection of premium ground cafetiere coffee and award winning Novus teas. All of our bathrooms come with fluffy towels and complimentary Arran Aromatics bath and shower gels.

Masson House is where the reception, lounge and restaurant are located. Relax in the Lounge with a drinks and food menu available from 14.00 daily, before going out to explore the City, or enjoying dinner in the Bistro. The Hotel also offers room service in both the Mansion House and Masson rooms.

Our acclaimed Full Scottish breakfast is also served in the Bistro and is included in your rate. Self-select from an extensive range of cold items whilst hot items are cooked to order. Local produce and its provenance is important to us and included in our breakfast are Charles Macleod Stornoway black pudding, Stobbs Farm smoked back bacon, Hornigs haggis and Borders sausages.

Our 24-hour reception means that one of our friendly team are always ready to welcome you, and we also offer free parking and 18 free electric vehicle recharging points with a Charge Places Scotland card (if you do not have one we can lend you one).

If you are looking for a place to meet or for a private dining space, the Mansion House has a wide range of meeting / private dining rooms.

Salisbury Green Hotel and Bistro really offers the best of both modern and traditional, with rooms and style that appeal to all, whatever your preference!
