Overview

The residence La Maison Universitaire Internationale de Montpellier is located opposite the tramway station "Occitanie" in the area of the College hospitals, serving all areas of Montpellier, supermarkets and many shops.

The self-catering apartments are furnished for one to two people with a single or double bed, a bedside table, a desk, a bookcase, a table, 2 chairs and a kitchenette.

Established at the foot of the Campus Montpellier 1, including the Faculty of Medicine UPM-IURC, it enjoys a lively student atmosphere. It is also close to the IUT in electrical engineering, and the campus of Saint-Priest of the University of Montpellier 3, where the National School of Chemistry is found. The School of Notaries of Montpellier and the UFR STAPS are located less than a kilometer away. All are within walking distance.

The minimum stay in this property is 90 nights.


Food & beverage

Each self-catering apartment has its own kitchenette equipped with hot plates, a refrigerator, a microwave. The kitchen kit is not included and costs €15/months and includes plates, glasses, a salad bowl, cutlery, stove, pot, bowl and a cooking utensil.

Grounds & Gardens

The zoo of Montpellier and the "Jardin des Plantes Montpellier", the oldest botanical garden in France created in 1593, are located within a 10 minute drive from the residence.

Other facilities

The following charges are included in the rate: EDF (heating, hot water, and diverse consumption), water, garbage tax and unlimited high speed internet.

Personalised access by magnetic badge. A function room and bicycle storage room are available free of charge.

Free loan of vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board.

Paying services:

Possibility of borrowing a temporary linen/towel kit for the first days against a refundable deposit of  €15 (the latter is only returned if items are handed in clean)

Outside Parking Space (subject to availability) €25 / month. A laundromat:  €2.5 for the washing machine and € 1.5 / 30 minutes for the dryer.
