Created in Nice in 1948, the Nice Jazz Festival has today become one of the top three jazz festivals in Europe. The Festival welcomes the biggest names in Jazz every year in a warm and steamy atmosphere! This year, a total of 30 jazz bands are scheduled to perform during 5 days and 5 unforgettable nights on the two scenes, Theater of Verdure and Masséna. The program which comprises a mixture of old and new generation jazz music has something in store for everyone!

The ticket price normally varies between €15 and €35, but there are also reduced rates such as '' pass '', groups, students etc. To book your tickets, please contact the network France Tickets (Fnac , Carrefour, Intermarché U Stores , Giant ) . Alternatively, tickets will go on sale a few days before the event at Nice Jazz Festival ticket office on Place Masséna.
Transport in Nice (how to go to Place Masséna)
Travelling by tram is the easiest way to attend concerts on Place Masséna . Take the tram route (T1) from Las Planas to Pont Michel and stop at the stations Masséna or Opéra Vieille Ville.
If you go by car, there is plenty of parking space around Nice including: Parcazur ‘’Las Planas’’ Parcazur ‘’Pont Michel '', Parcazur ‘’Vauban '', Parcazur ‘’ Saint Augustin '' and Parcazur ’le Palais des Expositions’’. It is easy to reach the city center by public transport (bus or tram) from the parkings “Parcazur”. There are also available parking spaces close to Place Masséna including: Palais Masséna, Masséna, Grimaldi Park , Louvre and Mozart to name a few.
There are more than 175 ‘’vélo bleu’’ bike stations in Nice, the first half-hour rental is free.
