Rooms very comfortable & clean. Easy transport connections. Would stay again.

Our stay at Scott House was very good. We enjoyed the privacy of the location and the quietness away from the hustle and bustle of the city center coming back at the end of the day. it might be a bit away from the city center (about 2 miles but not isolated) and yet the availability of the bus route made it convenient and accessible. you will see residential houses on the sides of the road. taxis would come to get you if you prefer. The rooms are basic but enough for practicality, bed linen are supplied and so are towels, bath toiletries (like what you find in a hotel) and hairblower (which I considered a necessity for women! ). it is clean, ensuite bathroom, the walk in shower is decent size. There is a supply of teas, coffees, and chocolate powder to make your own with a plug in kettle in the room. wifi works well. the maintenance staff are considerate and attentive to any requests or complaints you might have. Even the cleaning staff are kind and polite. there is a kitchen upstairs with necessary supplies (refrigerator, microwave, stove and cookery) to use to make your own food. outside is a field of green grass by the school campus and relaxing to do a walk. Though the building complex is near the college dorm and you will see some students walking by here and there, the entrance is secured by a code. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes a decent place to stay in Oxford and not something expensive.

Excellent in every way!! I loved being close to bus line, having access to kitchen, how clean the room and building was and how quiet it was. Thank you!!

All the staff were helpful, polite and joyful, the price service ratio is excellent and the scenery in Harcourt is beautiful. In fact, the only complaint that I have is that I could not extend my stay beyond Sunday, but if you have availability, let me know thanks again for everything
Mr Bruno C
